The elders of the Realm of Cafeum were extremely annoyed by Capulus's eccentricities. He is what you'd call a rebel on planet earth, but of the evil kind.
The Realm of Cafeum was tasked to distribute growth of Coffee beans in different habitable planets throughout the Milky Galaxy. For some unknown reason planet Earth seemed to be the only planet with climate favoring growth of extremely well balanced coffee beans resulting in some of the finest tasting coffee. All the coffee beans in the other planets produced coffee that was either too acidic, or too bitter, leaving a bad after taste.
For this reasons the Elders of the Realm had a soft corner for the people of earth. And this is what Capulus, the younger son of the Alpha Elder did not approve of. He was always arguing and disobeying the laws and could never accept that the people of earth was getting such good coffee for free. What the Elders could not make him understand was it was earth's inherent properties that was producing the great coffee beans. The Realm of Cafeum was only doing the task that had been assigned to them by the supreme authorities. Capulus's jealousy saw to no reason.
Capulus had been secretly studying the planet earth, researching books of dark magic - trying to find something, anything that would tilt the balance in the eyes of the elders. Instead he found something more sinister, something dark...very, very dark....
He had made up his mind. he had had enough of seeing the Realm Of Cafeum being ordered what to do by the supreme authority. If the leadership of Cafeum was going to do nothing about it, he would take his own actions. But for the war he had planned, he needed power. Lots and lots of power. Taking on the Supremes was no joke.
So one Tuesday evening, when the Realm was distributing raw coffee beans all over the milky galaxy for plantation, Capulus loosened the flow completely when it was earth's turn. By the time the elders had realized what had happened, millions millions and millions of raw coffee beans had been set loose upon earth. The sheer force of the falling beans was so strong, so severe that it tore a whole in the cosmic wall that separated different realms from each other. The wall was set in place to prevent creatures from one realm jumping freely into different realms. And that is exactly what Capulus needed to do. As the downpour of coffee beans headed at a meteorite speed towards earth, Capulus quietly jumped the Vortex and headed towards earth himself.
The coffee beans struck the fertile soil of Planet earth like a hailstorm the earth has never seen before. As the beans were travelling with intense speed due to the weight of so many beans falling together, all the beans were getting cracked open and the raw acidic juices slowly dripped out. The raw juices of coffee beans are extremely toxic and that's why they should never come in direct contact with soil. Once coffee beans are gently planted under the soil, these juice undergoes transformation and allows the shoots of coffee plants to grow, themselves never coming in direct contact with the soil. There however was no gentleness this time and Capulus laughed out loud watching his plan go exactly to the tee so far!
As soon as the juices came out of the beans they were immediately getting frozen due to the sub-zero temperature of outer space. So when the beans did hit the soil of earth, it was an actual hailstorm...a blizzard of sorts. The unsuspecting humans of earth stayed indoors, that's what you do when there's a blizzard. No one realized it was no ordinary blizzard, for underneath every piece of ice was a broken coffee bean, oozing with the toxic raw juices of raw coffee beans. No one also found out that along with the blizzard, another creature had entered the earth...a creature from a realm far far away...

Capulus walked the streets of earth watching the hail attack the soil of earth. By midnight the ice would all melt and the toxic juices would decay the fertility of the soil that was producing such amazing coffee. He laughed sadistically to himself.
But all of this fertile land could not be allowed to go to waste. Because he still needed to have access to the insanely good coffee to lure in his preys.
So he cast a protective spell over a large area to protect it from the incoming hailstorm of coffee beans. Then he placed a concealment charm over the area so that no one could see or find it unless he wanted them to. People would just see it was an abandoned narrow alley, not knowing the secrets hidden under the concealment charm.
One by one, every bit of earth's best coffee growing soil was being spoiled. But not a single bean hit Capulus's concealed location.
The earth's soil was so fertile to begin with, that even after the destruction it could still produce very good coffee. But no place on earth could produce that seductively good coffee that would mesmerize, enchant any one who drank it. No place, except Boulevard 66...
Capulus was now an Alpha, the Alpha of Boulevard 66. He needed an army, a very powerful army.
Somewhere in one of the ancient books Capulus discovered the power one could harness by harvesting human souls....
