Perfect for those who can read Korean, which is not me.
This library cafe has been on my list for a long time. The videos of this cafe that people uploaded on social media looked very cozy and aesthetic. Before I knew that almost all the books they had were in Korean. And the thing is, I only watch K-bands and never really know anything else like Idols, K-dramas, or even books from Korean authors. So I’ve never wanted to learn the language.
Going to a library cafe is better if I can check the books and read few pages. However, even though I knew I couldn’t do that at Space K, I really wanted to go to this beautiful library so bad.
The cafe is open from 9 am so I thought it was a good place for WFC. My first impresion after entering Space K was.. the place is smaller than I thought. It really is the videos around the internet made it look grand and quite big. But in real life, it’s looks smaller, which is not a problem at all since I went there for doing some work not anything else.
I ordered a hot cappuccino. And honestly, the price wasn’t for me. It was cost around $2, which is not expensive for some people. But for me, I knew this place couldn’t be my “go-to cafe”. I only ordered the cappuccino and wanted to test the wifi first before place more order, because I also read someone’s comment about the wifi isn’t stable enough.
And that was true. The wifi was unreliable. It would often disconnected, make it a bit difficult to get some work done, especially when I was trying to design on Canva. However, when this happen, I always blame my laptop because my wifi card is a little problematic too.
Anyway, in the end, I didn’t really get much done and decided to just take pictures and record videos of this beautiful library cafe instead. Every corner of Space K is just so pretty. They actually also have a second floor, but I didn’t check it out that day. The place is completely filled with Korean books so I didn't even try to open it😅 A small section below, from what I read on the internet, people saying it is for English books.
Since the wifi is unstable, I think this cafe is suitable to spending time writing. Because sometimes I feel like it’s great to block the time for writing without an internet connection so that we can stay focus. Moreover, because this is a library cafe, it must be nice to writing while surronded by books like in a library, but even better because accompany by a cup of coffee☕️
Just writing it makes me want to comeback again to make a writing vlog or something like that😁 maybe next time. That’s all for today’s cafe review, upvote for more content like this and reblog is also appreciated :) Thankyou for reading, have a great day! here’s the YT-short version of this cafe, in case some of you want to check that out.
