Hello friends, happy Thursday. Today I want to give you a review of an Asian pastry shop that opened in Caracas a few months ago.
Hola amigos, feliz jueves. El día de hoy quiero darles una reseña de una pastelería asiática que abrió en Caracas hace unos meses.
I met this place on my birthday, we came for breakfast and I tasted a delicious cold coffee and a variety of other products they offer typical of Japan and China.
Este lugar lo conocí en mi cumpleaños, vinimos a desayunar y probé un delicioso café frío y otra variedad de productos que ofrecen típicos de Japón y China.
This place is located inside the Chinese Social Club of the "El Bosque" sector in Caracas, known by Caracas locals as the place where you can buy products brought directly from China, and on weekends they offer a market of fresh vegetables ideal for preparing your own dishes.
Este lugar se encuentra dentro del Club Social Chino del sector "El Bosque" en Caracas, conocido por los caraqueños como el lugar donde se pueden comprar productos traídos directamente de china, y los fines de semana ofrecen un mercado de vegetales frescos ideales para preparar sus propios platos.
The first impression that this place gives when you enter is that it is not a very nice place, because the first thing you see is the sports court and a store of products brought from China that are popular among the Venezuelan Asian community and among the fans of this gastronomy, but you should buy carefully because you can get a fiasco! But another day I'll tell you about this 😂.
La primera impresión que da este lugar al entrar es que no es un sitio muy bonito, pues lo primero que se ve es la cancha deportiva y una tienda de productos traídos desde China que son populares entre la comunidad asiática venezolana y entre los aficionados a esta gastronomía, pero debe comprarse con cuidado porque puedes llevarte un fiasco ¡¡¡Cuidado con el dirían!!! Pero otro día les hablo de esto 😂
A few steps away we start to see the logo that says "Asían Gourmet Bakery" and some tables arranged to sit and share. But once you enter you feel like you are in some corner of Asia and you forget that you are in Caracas, inside the Chinese social club.
A pocos pasos comenzamos a ver el logo que dice "Asían Gourmet Bakery" y unas mesas acomodadas para sentarse y compartir. Pero una vez que entras sientes que estás en algún rincón de asia y se te olvida que estás en Caracas, dentro del club social Chino.
Inside the place is even better, the walls and countertops simulate a delicate marble and the place is completely open so you can see how they prepare the products they offer.
Dentro del lugar es aún mejor, las paredes y encimeras simulan un delicado mármol y el lugar es totalmente abierto de forma que puedes ver cómo preparan los productos que ofrecen.
On weekends it gets very crowded with people who come for a coffee, a smoothie or just for breakfast.
Los fines de semana se llena muchisimo de personas que vienen por un café, un batido o solo a desayunar.
They have a great variety of breads, some alone, others filled with sausage or dried meat, others that they heat up on the spot and come filled with roast pork, chicken or salted egg cream, this last one is my favorite, although I must confess that the first time I tried it I was a little afraid. The name has nothing to do with its flavor, it is not salty, it is actually filled with a type of English cream a little thicker, it is simply spectacular.
Tienen una gran variedad de panes, algunos solos, otros rellenos con salchicha o carne seca, otros que calientan al momento y vienen rellenos de cerdo asado, de pollo o de crema de huevo salado, este último es mi favorito, aunque debo confesar que la primera vez que lo probé tenía un poco de miedo. El nombre nada tiene que ver con su sabor, no es salado, en realidad está relleno de un tipo de crema inglesa un poco más espesa, simplemente es espectacular.
And before we go on to talk about my favorite part, that is, the coffee and coffee-based shakes, we must talk about the perfect accompaniment, the desserts they offer.
Y antes de que pasemos a hablar de mi parte favorita, es decir, del café y de los batidos a base de café, debemos hablar del acompañante perfecto, los postres que ofrecen.
Some desserts are extremely rare, several are made with dried meat and many others include red grains in their preparation.
I have not dared to try the cakes with dried meat, but once, out of ignorance, I ordered a dessert that was green tea, but the filling had some grains in it. The beans are added only cooked, without seasoning or added flavors, beyond the flavor of the bean itself.
I must confess that finding the beans was a surprise and although it was strange, it did not taste bad.
Algunos postres con extremadamente raros, varios elaborados con carne seca y muchos otros incluyen granos rojos en su preparación.
No me he animado a probar las tortas con carne seca, pero una vez por desconocimiento pedí un postre que era de te verde, pero en el relleno tenía algunos granos. Los granos se agregan solo cocinados, sin aliños ni sabores añadidos, más allá del sabor propio del grano.
Debo confesar que el encontrar los granos fue una sorpresa y aunque fue raro no tenía mal sabor.
My favorite dessert from this place is the oreo mochi, but the strawberry mochi is also very tasty and although the texture is quite different from what we are used to here in Venezuela, it is divine and very fresh.
Mi postre favorito de este sitio es el mochi de oreo, pero el de fresa también es muy rico y aunque la textura es bastante diferente a lo que estamos acostumbrados aquí en Venezuela es divino y muy fresco.
But if we talk about drinks, here you will find a great variety of them. These, normal and delicious.
Pero si de bebidas hablamos aquí encontrarás gran variedad de ellas. Estás, normales y deliciosas.
If you are not a coffee lover you have options of cold green tea and infusions prepared with milk, such as Jamaica tea with milk or green tea with milk in cold presentations.
They also make smothies with tapioca, sweet potato, yogurt and any seasonal fruit.
I have not tried these drinks because I prefer coffee, but for some people they are divine.
Si no eres aficionado al café tienes opciones de Té verde frío e infusiones preparadas con leche, tales como té de Jamaica con leche o te verde con leche en presentaciones frías.
También hacen smothies de tapioca, batata, yogurt y cualquier fruta de temporada.
Estas bebidas no las he probado porque prefiero el café, pero para algunas personas son divinos.
As for the coffee, you can order coffee like in any cafe or pastry shop, black, espresso, or with milk. They also have cold coffee, I have never been a lover of these drinks but I tried it and it was spectacular, so every time I can I come for it, it is also a very generous portion, about 700ml and the price is quite reasonable.

En cuanto al café, puedes pedir café como en cualquier cafe o pastelería, negro, espresso, o con leche. También tienen el café frío, yo nunca he Sido muy amante de estás bebidas pero lo probé y fue espectacular, así que cada vez que puedo vengo por él, además es una porción bastante generosa, unos 700ml y el precio bastante razonable.

If you have the opportunity to come I invite you to do so, you will have a good time having breakfast or coffee with friends. It can also be a good place for a first outing with someone special, or if you like to try different things.
Si tienes oportunidad de venir te invito a hacerlo, pasaras un buen rato desayunando o tomando un café con amigos. También puede ser un buen sitio para una primera salida con alguien especial, o si te gusta probar cosas diferentes.
