Finding a coffee spot that not only serves great drinks but also has a cozy and inviting atmosphere can be such a delightful experience! Recently, I stumbled upon Tamp Cafe & Co. in Kasambagan, Cebu City, and it was truly a breath of fresh air compared to the minimalist cafes I usually visit.
A Warm Welcome
As soon as I approached the cafe, the elegant black frames and tall glass windows caught my eye. The warm lights inside created an inviting glow that made me feel right at home. The blend of Asian and Western vibes in the decor is what really sets this place apart. It’s modern yet cozy, with both indoor and outdoor seating that invites you to relax and enjoy your time there.
Super Nice Staff
One of the best things about our visit was how friendly the staff were. They greeted us with big smiles and were super helpful when we had questions about the menu. It felt really nice to be treated so well! They made sure we had everything we needed, and they even suggested some of their favorite dishes. It’s always great when the people working at a place are so nice because it makes you feel welcome.

What I love about Tamp Cafe & Co. is that it's not just about coffee. They offer a diverse menu that includes breakfast options, which is essential for any good cafe, especially in the Philippines where coffee is often part of breakfast. Their selection ranges from sweet desserts to savory dishes like pasta, making it a perfect spot for any meal of the day.

During my visit with my cousins, we ordered a variety of treats:
Carrot Walnut Cake Slice
Yema Cake Slice
Matcha Green Tea Frappe
Chai Chocolate Iced
Cafe Caramel Frappe
Mocha Frappe
The prices start from around 150 pesos, which is quite reasonable considering the quality. Out of everything we tried, the Carrot Cake stood out as the best—perfectly balanced in sweetness and flavor. The Yema Cake was decent but didn't blow me away. On the other hand, I found the Mocha Frappe to be a bit too strong for my taste, and the Matcha Green Tea Frappe had an overpowering tea flavor that might not suit everyone.
A Change of Scenery
This cafe has become one of my favorite spots because it offers a refreshing change from the usual minimalist vibe found in many other coffee shops. It feels like a little escape where you can enjoy good food and drinks while soaking in a warm atmosphere.
One Little Thing
The only little downside I noticed was that they don’t give free water. Instead, you have to buy bottled water if you want something to drink besides your meal. It’s not a big deal, but it’s just something to keep in mind if you go there. We ended up ordering some bottled water because we were thirsty after all the yummy food!

Overall Fun Time
Overall, I think Tamp Cafe & Co. is a fantastic place to visit! The food is delicious, the staff are super nice, and the atmosphere is beautiful—especially at night when everything is lit up. It feels like a special spot where you can relax and enjoy time with friends or family.
