Last Saturday, my older cousin texted us that he's coming over together with our younger cousin. They're both off duty, so they decided to spend some time at home.
As usual, we had a hearty dinner which mama and I prepared. Spent some time catching up as usual and then played some mobile games together. These are the simple joys that we share whenever our schedules coincide.
Our family has a store and part of it is an ice cream corner. My older cousin wanted to buy some ice cream, but I told him that he need not pay for it as it's my treat. He was really craving, so he ended up eating a lot. haha... so cute
And since I didn't let him pay, he gave me some drip coffee instead. His friend from our grandparents' hometown makes it and he "traded" me some for the ice cream he ate.

He gave me this whole pack with ten coffee drips inside. I decided to have it the next morning. :)

My usual coffee is Nescafe Gold which is a combination of Arabica and Robusta. I sometimes put a bar of dark chocolate in it. However, for this particular coffee, I wanted to savour it, so I won't add anything. I prefer my coffee black, anyway. ;)
Also, there's an instruction to follow as well as other information about the coffee and the store at the back.
Here's the filter bag with the roasted coffee inside. As I opened it, I felt really excited since I love the smell of roasted coffee. I remember last time we went back to our grandparents' place, we went to a native cafe and I had some roasted coffee. That was heavenly!
While looking at the coffee drop, SB19's CRIMZONE kept playing in my head, but instead of Let crimson drip!!, I sang Let coffee drip!... If you're curious about the song, just click the link above. It's their US Wish bus live performance of the song. ;)
It was so yummy... I love it!
The smell was already soothing, so how much more as I drank it?
Thanks manong Jed for the trade! <3
My parents are not into coffee, so I got the whole pack for myself. lol
I limit myself to just one cup (or mug... lol) a day, but I may break my own rule because of this. JK~ Really, it may trigger my insomnia again if I drink too much, so I'll be good.
And that's my coffee story for today. :) Thanks for reading and I'll see you around! Have a great one! (^^,)/
