What coffee do you love the most? That always accompanied your day in the office?
Last time I have shared about a coffee brand around my office. Actually, around my office there's a few coffee shop and two of them I have review before. Now I want to share the other one coffee brand that have cozy place to settle down for a minutes or more.
It is:
The Doubleu
If you can see the logo, it's really simple. Just 'W', so the brand name is the spelling for that alphabet. How genius they are!
Before I share what coffee that I have ordered, first I want to share about that 'cozy' place.
The Cozy Caffe, Doubleu Caffe
Between all coffee brand that I have shared before, this is the only one the coffee brand that have place to stay. Yeah, it's not about just a coffee brand but also coffee shop.
Stack up 'Starbuck' this cafeshop isn't big but I think the cool decoration makes everyone wanna stay more than 1 hours. For people who loves a quite situation, like me, this place is the great place.
If you like live music, there's a band at the end of that build. I think this place really nice to you who's date someone. I really recommend it!
When the pandemic is came, this place is unavailable to stay, they were sale a coffee just for take away. But nowadays, when the pandemic is almost gone, they have how many seat to costumers. If I'm not in hurry to reach my office, I will stay in a few minutes, might be.
The Doubleu cafe is near from my office. It's still in the same complex, Rukan Senayan, South Jakarta. It's about two minutes if I take a walk from my office. When I went to my office, I would face this cafe first then my office, It's really near from the main gate of my office complex.
For interior, this cafe has a simple style that I liked. Just because christmas just gone, they still keep christmas style. It's really eye catching. This cafe is open in monday till saturday. They just close in sunday.
Cafe Latte
In the past day, I have order the cappucinno in this cafe. But when I come back again, when I see the menu on the wall, my eyes are focused on The Cafe Latte, so I order it!
As its name, Cafe Latte was a coffee with espresso based, it's latte, and a little milk. I haven't ask lot of the sugar cause I didn't like sweet coffee. My order was a cafe latte with less sugar. When I tried that, and I really love it! Even I more love this kind of coffee than another coffee brand that I have shared before.
For the taste, it's similar like cappuccino. So I thought I have alternative when I was bored with cappuccino hahaha...
Indeed, between another coffee that I have shared before, the price of this brand is more expensive. I don't know how they calculated it. Is that just because their place more expensive too or is they use a best coffee, I don't know either.
For 1 cup cafe latte I paid IDR 27K. If I buy another coffee, I will get two cups.
Just because I really like this coffee in this brand than another brand, I think, spent more it's okay. It's still cheaper than Starbuck.
Besides Cafe Latte, they were sale another menus like:
- Espresso
- Cappuccino
- Piccolo
- Split
- Long Black
- Americano
- Mocha
- Milk Coffee
- Heart breaker with hazelnut, salted caramel, roasted almond flavour
- Tea and chocolate variant
I think I have to try another variant of Espresso based like Piccolo and Split. You know, the piccolo remind me with the character of my favorite cartoon in my childhood. It was Piccolo from Dragon Ball. Even I forgot about main character of that cartoon. It was too long. Hahaha
The Other Side That Can Make You Feel Cozy
I thought they has good taste. Their designer for this interior was great. It's really beautiful and simple design. I give you a bonus to see that place even you can come. I think you will agree.
