I found this contest that brings us the @cinnccf team and I was interested in participating, since the first of October was celebrated the international day of coffee, I did not hesitate to make my entry as a good coffee lover and tell my story and traditions to consume this succulent beverage .
In my life, coffee has always been present, since my grandparents and parents have been part of this drink, that from very early in the morning the smell of coffee permeated the house, so from a very young age they fed me with coffee and bread for my breakfast, it was there where it all began, and for five decades this is still my breakfast.
It is my addiction and my favorite drink, I am not a tea drinker, and if I don't drink it I get a headache, so I never miss it, besides I buy it at home with my family, I also love to make dates with friends in coffee shops, so much that I know all these places in my city.
I have many anecdotes to tell, once I went to the dentist for a cleaning and he asked me if I drank a lot of coffee, since the color of my teeth are not white, I said yes and he told me that I had a nice smile but not to forget to brush after drinking coffee, hehe.
"How prepared my coffee"
I can buy any brand of coffee, although I have some that I like more than others, and for the coffee to come out according to my taste, since it has to be very dark, I have my own way of preparing it, since my mother taught me her method. So I will use the electric coffee maker, I add two cups of water and for each cup two spoonfuls of coffee powder, I turn it on and in minutes my coffee is ready. I hardly ever use my coffee maker unless I run out of gas fuel, as it has happened to me, that's why I bought my coffee maker since my coffee is not missing in my traditional breakfast.
The way my parents made the coffee was the traditional way, they heated the water in a pot, then they added the powder and when it boiled they strained the coffee in a cloth bag where there was also some coffee powder, they added the sugar and that was it, I also used this method. My mother told me that my grandparents, who are no longer present, used to prepare the coffee without straining it, they just waited for the coffee to brew and then served it.
These are my three methods of preparing my coffee, in my home, although I have made several recipes based on this ingredient, exposed in my blog of many quesillo, cakes, cookies, and other sweets, plus very creamy iced coffee, these flavors are my favorite. On the other hand, when I go out with my partner and friends I have celebrated events in coffee shops, in which they prepare the best coffee and always those moments are beautiful and meaningful that will remain in my memory, with the seal of coffee.
Today I celebrate the international day of coffee, in my country Venezuela, which is my favorite drink, its taste, its smell is my antidote that wakes me up in the morning recharging me with energy for the challenge of my day.
I really enjoyed doing this kind of contest and especially talking about coffee which is one of the things I enjoy the most in my life, because I like its bitter taste and smell and also behind a good story in the international coffee day.
