I have received two good recommendations from a couple of friends, each on different occasions and conversations, where they have told me that there is a new coffee in the city and that it is very good, this is something I have to check for myself, so here I come to tell you how true it is, welcome to the new Gastronomic and Coffee Route of Yen.
It is called Kaia Café, it is located in the heart of the city of Charallave, Miranda State - Venezuela, although it is a small place it is very beautiful, a simple and very flirtatious decoration, I would say that it has a feminine touch compared to the rest of the cafes I have visited in the city.
I introduce you to @Aixabeth Yepez, who was the girl who attended to me, very kind and attentive, as always, with my doubts about what to order when choosing from the menu, I prefer to follow the recommendations that can suggest to me, then she prepared a Machiatto not so strong with a touch of chocolate and where there is chocolate there is happiness.
I had my reservations, on one occasion in another establishment I ordered a similar coffee and although its presentation was beautiful it was not as divine as I expected, but I will tell you about that on another route, meanwhile, I pay attention to the place, for a small place it is quite cozy, comfortable, intimate, with nice music and beautiful furniture to take a great selfie.
The eagerly awaited aromatic herbs were not long in coming and immediately arrived at the table, impeccable presentation, you can taste various delicacies from a divine portion of potatoes to salads and hamburgers, here I show you part of their menu:

I just opted for my Machiatto wishing it wouldn't end, in the background felt more of the chocolate remnants and thought, "I must come back to this cafe for this cafe".
I went back the next day, the first time I went without glasses and I couldn't appreciate their menu, that's the bad thing when you start getting older after 40 haha! Among the options I could choose a Vanilla Latte coffee with an extra chantilly paying a dollar more, really a delight, I can not complain although I thought a lot, if I invested that extra money I had not contemplated, I enjoyed a good time with my coffee and took the opportunity to finish an illustration that I have pending to publish here in #Hive, I went to pay what I owed and took the opportunity to ask some questions to the barista as if I were a journalist.
Why the name KAIA?
Kaia is a Greek goddess, protector, and mother earth (no wonder the feminine touch I mentioned above).
When did Kaia cafe open its doors and how does it differ from other cafés in the city?
The establishment opened its doors in 2022 and is characterized by its purely gourmet service, we are trying to expand the menu a bit with attractive offers for customers who are not used to this type of service as they only see it in the city of Caracas and here in the Valles del Tuy their weekends or free time is more of the simple family type food in local or street vendors, a soup, barbecue, chicken or hot dogs.
I saw on your social networks that you held a wine, art, and coffee event on December 21, 2022. How was it? As well as you did that small workshop, could there be some kind of course that you could teach perhaps in the area of barista? I ask because of the boom in the area on the aromatic subject.
Although the event was great because it was the first time that something like that was given in our town, we do not plan to do another one, nor any related to baristas, in fact, I am not a barista by training but by a wide experience in the area working with the best from whom I have learned since I was 17 years old until now that I am in my thirties.
Good attention, service, and divine coffee, however, as a suggestion from my personal point of view I would have loved to receive the coffee with a cookie next to the cup, that is how a brand or an extra added value to the service offered, I particularly love to have a good cup of coffee and if there is dessert much better, but they still do not offer that in their menu.
Certainly have a gourmet menu, you know it is expensive, but if you have a limited budget, pay an extra dollar that seems to you, adapt to what the market research of the area says, offer a good product, and that is accessible without losing its essence and not fall into the common or ordinary to sell, get an income is difficult, but not impossible, social networks help a lot to promote yourself but more help is the attention you can give and "that added value" that will make the customer return, happy and recommending the place to others just as I am doing here.

Se llama Kaia Café, está ubicado en pleno corazón de la Ciudad de Charallave, Estado Miranda – Venezuela, aunque es un lugar pequeño es muy hermoso, una decoración sencilla y muy coqueto, se diría que tiene su toque femenino en comparación con el resto de los cafés que he visitado en la ciudad.
Les presento a @Aixabeth1, quien fue la chica que me atendió, muy amable y atenta, como siempre, yo con mis dudas que pedir al momento de escoger en el menú, prefiero seguir las recomendaciones que puedan sugerirme, entonces preparó un Machiatto no tan fuerte con su toque de chocolate y donde hay chocolate hay felicidad.
Tenía mis reservas, en una ocasión en otro establecimiento pedí un café similar y aunque su presentación fue hermosa no fue tan divino como esperaba, pero eso se los contaré en otra ruta, mientras tanto, presto atención al lugar, para ser un local pequeño es bastante acogedor, confortable, íntimo, con música agradable y un bello mueble para tomarse una genial selfie.

Las ansiadas aromáticas no se hicieron esperar y de forma inmediata llegaron a la mesa, su presentación impecable, puedes degustar delicias varias desde una divina ración de papas hasta ensaladas y hamburguesas, aquí te muestro parte de su menú :
Mi hermana como siempre me acompañó a conocer el nuevo lugar.
Yo solo me decanté por mi Machiatto deseando que no terminara, al fondo se sintió más los restos del chocolate y pensaba: “Debo volver a este café por éste café”.
Regresé al día siguiente, la primera vez fui sin lentes y no pude apreciar bien su menú, ¡Bendita prebiscia jajaj!, entre las opciones podía escoger un Latte Vainilla con un extra de chantilly pagando un dólar más, es decir 4,5 $, de verdad una delicia, no me puedo quejar ¡Aunque vaya que lo pensé si invertía ese dinero extra que no tenía contemplado!, disfruté de un buen rato con mi café y dando algunos toques a una ilustración que tengo pendiente por publicar aquí en #hive:

A qué se debe el nombre de KAIA?
Kaia es una diosa griega, protectora, la madre tierra. (Con razón el toque femenino que les comenté más arriba).
¿Cuándo Kaia kafe abrió sus puertas y en qué se diferencia de los demás cafés de la ciudad?
El establecimiento abre sus puertas en el 2022 y se caracteriza por su servicio netamente gourmet, estamos tratando de ampliar un poco el menú con ofertas atractivas para los clientes quienes no están acostumbrados a este tipo de servicio ya que solo lo ven en la ciudad de Caracas y aquí en los Valles del Tuy sus fines de semana o tiempos libres son más del tipo comida sencilla tipo familiar en locales o vendedores ambulantes, una sopa, parrillada, pollo o perros calientes.
Vi en sus redes sociales que realizaron un evento de vino, arte y café para el 21 de diciembre del 2022 ¿Qué tal estuvo? Así como realizaron ese pequeño taller ¿Pudiera haber algún tipo de curso que ustedes impartan quizás en el área del barismo? Lo pregunto por el boom que hay en la zona sobre la materia aromática.
Aunque el evento fue genial ya que fue primera vez que se imparte algo por el estilo en nuestra localidad, no tenemos pensado de momento realizar otro, tampoco alguno relacionado sobre el barismo, de hecho, no soy barista por formación sino por una amplia experiencia en el área trabajando con los mejores de quienes he aprendido, desde los 17 años de edad hasta la actualidad que estoy en mis treintas.
Buena atención, servicio y un café divino, sin embargo, como sugerencia desde mi punto de vista personal me hubiera encantado recibir el café con una galleta al lado de la taza, eso es cómo una marca o un valor añadido extra al servicio ofrecido, particularmente me encanta tomar una buena tasa de café y si hay postre mucho mejor, pero ellos aún no ofrecen eso en su menú.
Ciertamente al tener un menú gourmet, ya sabes que es algo costoso, pero si tienes un presupuesto limitado, pagar un dólar extra lo piensas, adaptarse a lo que diga el estudio de mercado de la zona, ofrecer un buen producto y que sea accesible sin perder su esencia y no caer en lo común o corriente para vender, obtener ingresos económicos es algo difícil, pero no imposible, las redes sociales ayudan mucho a promover pero más es la atención y “ese valor agregado” que hará que el cliente vuelva como sucedió con el chocolate en el fondo y no del mar precisamente.
