My friends, today I want to discuss about educating students so they can work together and dare to express opinions. Today I have a teaching schedule in class XIPA2 at 11 a.m. I want to apply the discussion method so that students can interact with their friends in discussing subject matter .
Sahabatku para pecinta dunia pendidikan, hari ini saya ingin membahas tentang mendidik siswa agar bisa bekerja sama dan berani untuk mengeluarkan pendapat. Hari ini saya mendapat jadwal mengajar di kelas XIPA2 pada jam 11 siang. Saya ingin menerapkan metode diskusi agar siswa bisa berinteraksi dengan teman-temannya dalam membahas materi pelajaran.
My friends, I formed several groups in the class and the students sat by their groups. I give different sub material to each group so that each group will present the results of the discussion in front of the other groups. The students are expected to comfidence to speak and give their opinions.
Sahabatku, saya membentuk beberapa kelompok di kelas tersebut dan para siswa duduk berdasarkan kelompoknya. Saya memberikan sub materi yang berbeda kepada setiap kelompok sehingga masing kelompok akan mempresentasikan hasil diskusi di depan
kelompok lainnya. Disini para siswa diharapkan berani untuk berbicara dan mengeluarkan pendapatnya.
The discussion method also make the students work together in groups in discussing subject matter. Students who are good and quick in mastering the material will teach other students who have not mastered yet the subject matter in their groups.
Metode diskusi juga membuat siswa bisa bekerja sama dalam kelompoknya dalam membahas materi pelajaran. Siswa yang pandai dan cepat dalam menguasai materi akan mengajarkan siswa lain yang belum menguasai materi pelajaran dalam kelompoknya.
After the group discussion is over, the group will present it to the other groups. Students in other groups will respond by asking questions and there is a question and answer process.
Setelah diskusi dalam kelompok selesai maka kelompok tersebut akan mempresentasikan di depan kelompok lainnya. Siswa dalam kelompok lainnya akan merespon dengan cara mengajukan pertanyaan dan terjadilah proses tanya jawab.
I think the discussion method can make students more enthusiastic in learning than the lecture method. It turned out that the students really enjoyed this method and they looked so happy in the discussion .
Saya melihat metode diskusi dapat membuat siswa lebih bersemangat dalam belajar daripada metode ceramah. Ternyata para siswa sangat menikmati metode tersebut dan mereka terlihat begitu gembira dalam berdiskusi.
