Hello everyone! As I said in my last blog, here's part 2 of my last blog. I'll be posting what our class did during our last week in school.
April 3, 2025
Few of us went to school that day,not half of our class was present. Perhaps due to the fact that we just needed to complete shooting our final project for General Biology 2. Then, it was also announced that we could go home at precisely 12 noon because the teachers and parents were having a meeting regarding the Recognition, Moving Up, and Graduation ceremony.
As I mentioned earlier, we had just wrapped up filming. There were hardly any scenes left, so it did not take long. As we were finished before 12, we decided to enjoy ourselves in our classroom. One of my friends played K-pop music on a bluetooth speaker, and we did a random dance challenge. We also danced to BINI songs, I became really exhausted from dancing to so many songs, lol.
Then my close friend and classmate Kresha and I planned a lunch date. But in reality, the food we consumed wasn't actually for lunch, but more like a snack, HAHAHAHAH. It was too hot outside, especially at noon, so we went to the closest beach where it wasn't warm. We purchased fries and drinks at "Defrost," then went to a place close to Mayol Beach Resort. We appreciated the breezy wind and the waves' sound while randomly chatting and snapping photos. When we were done with our snack and drinks, we thought it was time to go home. It was still extremely hot, but fortunately, we were able to find a tricycle ride very soon. It was approximately 2 PM when we went back home.

This day was actually very special to all of us because it was the scheduled pictorial recognition of our batch, from 2 to 4 PM. I came to school at around 1 PM because I requested one of my classmates to do my makeup (the makeup that I have is actually more for beginners). Then we took some time to take random shots with my classmates after having my makeup done.
By around 3 PM, it was Pythagoras' turn at last for the pictorial.
I must admit that I was so anxious about what my face would look like. I was constantly thinking the photo would come out bad and it would be humiliating, considering that the photographs would be displayed on a very large screen on Recognition Day. I was sweating a lot while waiting! When it was finally my turn, I didn't actually know what to do, I felt so awkward seating and smilingšš. But the best part was, we could check the photo and request a retake if we didn't like it. When I looked at my photo, it actually came out quite well, so I just nodded at the photographer to indicate that it was fine.

Then, after our photo shoot, our adviser informed us that we didn't need to return to school, with the exception of April 7, which was for general cleaning of our room and screening of our General Biology 2 project.
I came around 9 AM, not early enough because there was no more checking of late attendance HAHAHAHAH (joke). We cleaned up afterwards, and our research group decided to go to the SHS computer lab to complete revising our research paper before it was printed and bound. After a while, a schoolmate of ours from a different section told us to come, announcing that the showing of the movie was going to begin. We went straight away to the Descartes room.
As I watched the movie, it just felt so great listening to both sections of us laughing together. It made me understand how close the connection was among all of us. Some of us may or may not still be close or even familiar with each other, but I am sure eventually we all will be.
After the movie viewing, my circle of friends decided that we could have lunch in Lapyahan because there were a lot of restaurants there. We were once again our normal noisy and wild selves! Even it took almost a minute of us just debating where to have lunch and what to eat, HAHHHA. The restaurant owner even laugh while she was observingš. After the food had arrived, we ate immediately since we were all extremely hungry and thirsty, particularly with the heat. Shortly thereafter, we decided, out of nowhere to continue bonding at my house. It was completely unplanned , but fortunately, my grandmother was willing to let everyone hang out there. Again, we were loud, messy, and extremely energetic(as usualš„²).

This was our first and last practice for the Recognition Day, which would be on April 14, 2025. All were instructed to report at 1 PM, but when my friend and I went to the complex, only about 10 students were present,HAHAHAHA. It seemed that the complex was vacant despite it being already near 2 PM. The practice didnāt take too long, it started around 2 PM and ended at 4 PM.
That's all folks in this blog! "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts."-Winston Churchill. This school year taught me that success isn't all about one perfect moment. Sometimes life doesn't turn out the way you planned it, and we stumble upon struggles such as anxiety, fears, and even tiny failures, but what matters most is the strength to just push through.
Thanks so much, guys! See you on my next blogs!!š¤
