Happy new year, my amazing hivers! To anyone who experienced research before, I'm sure you can all relate to how stressful the workloads are. Everything needs to be defended; the topic, the title, the S.O.P. , the research itself, and many more. Those sleepless nights and meals skipped are testaments that we all deserve to treat ourselves after defending our research. In this blog, I'm going to share with you all the aftermath of a "research defended" moment of my conyo baby. This happened last year when we were both on 12 grade. Both of us were studying at a strict catholic school so the pressure is much higher. This was not the final defense but still super worth it. The defense happened on morning and other groups were not allowed to enter the area, therefore, I stayed home while the defense happened. No photos or videos were also allowed during the whole process. The defense ended on lunch time and that's when I started getting ready to asked her on the update. She and her friends had lunch on McDonald's. Since I came much later, I just ordered a snack instead of a meal.
While eating, they talked about how stressful the atmosphere was during the questioning. Every groups defended their research but a major and minor revisions were still necessary.
After eating, her friends decided to go home to start making their revisions already, that's how stressful their research was. Since it was just her and I, we went to Watson's to buy something.
After that quick run to Watson's, she deserves a mental break so I suggested that we went to plaza first so that she can relax and we can talk more. I took photos of her because she looked hot on her suit. Sadly, this was also the time that I lost her apple AirPods. I was wearing the sling where she put it and that's how I lost it.
