Hello dear Hivers!
Here's hoping you are all fine this weekend. The days went by so quickly and without knowing it , it's Sunday again! Well, many of us like to be lazy on this day. I have planned to do many things at home, so plenty of unfinished work, you know the household chores. The lunch had been cooked, made two machine washes and some container gardening. I´ve baked some scrumptious muffins that will be shown below.

What beautiful colorful Sprouts above...!
Got any idea what this sprout is? Well, I was surprised to have discovered this sweet potato, part of the base began to dry off so I cut it and it fell down the floor between the pots. I couldn't find it and weeks later I discovered it after I saw the purple colored sprouts! The fuchsia color is so lovely and so amazing!

In my daily life, the one thing I always see is, to walk on the fields to get fresh air after lunch. This time, I drove til the beginning of the pathway to the direction of the paddocks which I have already posted its story here.. The pathway is a narrow area in the middle of two fields organized by nature friends of the Lobau.

Passing-by the green patches of wild plants, the pathway has now recovered and the insects came back again. I threaded the way to the water to see the ducks and other birds. I was lucky to find a family of 4 ducks.

It didn't take me long to stay at the park, I just took a glimpse of the water and the ducks swimming so as to be able to take some photos.... then found my way again to the direction of the car.

This seems to be a family of four ( one ahead, partly hidden) nicely swaying their way to the other side of the bridge. The water is calm and they feel safe though they can hear the rattling sound of bikes passing on the wooden bridge above their heads.

Not far aways from where the ducks were, was a beautiful huge mushroom growing from a tree bark. The ducks, although so close to it, did not seem to bother it. Perhaps, it is not edible for them because they just ignored it.
Going back to the track....
A group of nature lovers with the help of the city admins, put up all these lava stones and the stack of barks on the side to give way to birds and insects to build their nests here. This was started last year and in a couple of years this may become a new habitat for the birds and other insects.

At Riegler´s Eissalon...
So I hurried up to the car and went straight to the Ice cream parlor at Riegler´s for refreshment. It was really hot at 32°C although it was cloudy. The Riegler´s is not far from our complex.

They only open in Spring when the days have become warmer til Autumn when the temps are still mild. I apologize for the below photo as it is blurry. But I chose Mango Peach, Strawberry and Pistachio.

A time to enjoy the ice cream on a hot day and the beautiful setting of the ice parlor surrounded by many flowers and benches.

The Muffins ....
And finally, I decided to bake some muffins. I got rid of my blueberries as well as added some walnuts and cranberries to the batter so it would look not only scrumptious but also delish... The recipe will follow in another post, coming soon!

That was my Sublime Sunday. I thank @c0ff33a for initiating this beautiful community and hope to come back here next week. I hope you will join this community too! I invite my friends who also have nice stories to tell @cindee08 @olivia08 @sisterhood2 @jurich60.
Until then... have a great new week ahead, see you around!
