Happy Sunday #sublimers of the #Sublimesunday community 🤣😅, you wonder what that could mean? Simple!! It's just a special greeting for the #sublimest Sunday there is. The cloud ☁️ I met up the sky almost deprived me of a wonderful session of praise and prayer in the church today. The cloudiness of the sky indicated it was going to rain, making me feel like going back to bed. I summoned some inner strength to bundle myself out of bed.
Now that I am in church, my system felt at peace. At Sunday school, a word struck me. We live in the end time, the very elect will.be deceived. I wasn't only dazed, I was awakened to this truth. Men have become lovers of worldly pleasure than chasers of God. Many have refused to be spirit-led. They now lean on their understanding. With this, I felt blessed already, just like I am blessing someone already.
The praise and worship session got me leaping for joy. It just another day that the Lord has made, I rejoiced in it. Here is my instrument of praise. I hope you'd get one too.
Another word came. Talking about offerings.
1 Kings 18:38 Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.
Bible King James Version
Everyone has an altar in the realm of the spirit. Therefore, your altar must not be empty, it must not lack offering.
Remember that God is not poor. He is Holy and Pure. Hence, your offering must be pure and must come.fr.a cheers heart for God to accept it. God loves a cheerful giver. God doesn't listen to murmuring or complaints. So, if you must give, let it come from your heart. Who will as end into the hills of God? He that has clean hands, that has a pure heart, he that has not rendered his heart to vanity. And he that has not sworn deceitfully.
Your offering must be given in faith. Faith is a catalyst that springs up the miraculous. Steer up your faith in the place of giving so that your reward will not pass you by.
Your offering must be sacrificial. God desires such. Sacrifice is something you give, not because it is convenient. Just like King David said he won't give God any offering that will cost him anything. The richest man who ever lived (King Solomon) was said to have given a thousand burnt offering. Have you ever heard how blessed he became, than King David his father? King Solomon went ahead to give more. He gave a whopping offering. It was recorded that then the presence of God came down to consume the offering and smoke filled the temple.
If your altar must burn with flames, them you need to offer what would provoke the presence of the Most High.
The greater the sacrifice, the greater the fire. Fire cannot descend on an empty altar. I want to give more because I want to experience more fire on my altar. I hope you will consider this too.
This is how sublime my #SublimeSunday had been. I wont be wrong if I say it is my #Sublimest Sunday for the year. I hope for better Sundays as the year progresses.
Thank you all for visiting my blog. Do have a great week ahead.
