A classic beautiful sublime Sunday in August

Hello Hello Silver Bloggers ...

Here we are again and it is Sunday.

For the first time it seems this week I have a few minutes to write an article for Hive.

Well I have the chicken roasting in the halogen oven and we are watching some guy walking in the fells in the Peak District in England.

Talking of England, unlucky for the Lioness losing to a second string Spanish squad.

If you follow football you will know the women's World Cup final was held this morning in Australia.

Spain beat England 1-0 and even had a penalty saved. Mind you the English goalkeeper came off her line by a country mile so that should have been retook. However, it did not matter!

There was huge controversy last year, England pretty much knocked Spain out of the Euros which England won.

There was massive unrest in the Spanish squad against their manager. So much so that 15 of the players, or las 15 as they have become known, sent an identical email to the Spanish Football Association complaining about all kinds of things. The Spanish FA sided with the manager and excluded the 15.

3 of the 15 were eventually picked for the World Cup.

I was living in Spain during the successful men's World Cup winning teams. It was party time and uplifted the whole country. So I imagine that they will be enjoying themselves but perhaps 12 aren't though!

Upon reflection, this seems to have been a bit of sport watching weekend. Yesterday I watched the Famous labour to a 2-1 against Morton in the cup, they even had to come from behind!

Then it was the English Premier League and boy oh boy my team is in trouble. Manchester United allegedly got a saviour of a Dutch manager, well it seems to be yet another false dawn and I picked Rashord and Fernandes.

I am a division 2 player and won my first head to head match and it seems we are tied in this match. I wonder if draws are counted?

It is enough to drive you to the drink!

Look at the head on that one, it must be a continental pint, ah more like half litre I believe if European!

Talking of Europe, good luck to all the British teams in Europe this week.

Are you a pretzel fan? Those we got in a packet and ate as part of our picnic on the beach espanade during the week.

I know PSV will be favourites to gain revenge against my team Rangers as we knocked them out last season!

Oh well it will be what it is and this week I will make a proper evaluation of what is going on with my fantasy footy team.

My birthday was on Thursday and it was perfect as my birthday mug and chocolate eclairs can atest to!

Good news alert, yay who does not love some good news!

I pulled my first fluffing Legendary card!!!

I am classically chuffed to pull this L58 Classic Roadster

It comes with 6000 fans which is fluffing awesome! It also has 400 Luck and 125 IM!

How fluffing cool is that?!?

Now that 6k boosted me way up to 38k which I needed as I was at the Special Mission limit.

If only I could pull some legendary cards in #craftink!

Oh well the mini game launch is fast approaching, so maybe I shall be buying some more packs before it launches!

Time to make some gravy and then eat dinner.

Funny how something always crops up when I try and write a post!
