Sometimes... when you are busy doing one thing, something else captures your attention. With me, that happens all the time! As I blame it often on my MS Brain... I was coming out of our back bedroom; I had been helping my other half keep her toes in order. She has terrible bunions, so I take one of those peel-and-stick things you put on corns. Then I wrap a band-aide around that. I have mentioned that she recently started a new job, as my disability alone is not enough. So, her feet have been killing her. I do what I can to help... so then... I was coming back to the front room and noticed the sunlight shining through our bedroom window, onto our chest of drawers. When I saw this silhouette, I had to get a picture...

We all see art in different ways I know... but I thought this looked quite "interesting", and had to get a photograph. It would probably have more impact if you had actually been standing there with me. But... that's how many things are right? This was a chest of drawers we had picked up from an Amish yard sale several years ago. We sanded it down and stained it to give it a "vintage" feel. The original (I think they were anyway) drawer knobs did not want to stay attached. So we just picked up a set of drawer knobs from the hardware store, and they seem to match perfectly! While the chest of drawers is not made of actual wood... it is still better than the press-board crap you get nowadays from WallyWorld. Regardless... it served the purpose of storing our clothes and was available to add to this #sublimesunday post!

I share a lot of flower photos...
Mainly because... well, I like flowers! But also, to maybe let some of you that have never seen these specific kinds of flowers, or don't have a way to "see" them where you live. Regardless... Let me show you how our Clematis is doing...

We had hoped that these would be trellising all the way up the stand. But for some reason, they are only growing mainly on the bottom and the top. To be honest, it's probably from lack of care. But with my other half working, and my inability to really get out there and tend to all of the flowers. They are just kind of growing in their own little "natural state". But I think they are beautiful either way... and because #alwaysaflower! To let you know what I am saying... Here is a photo of the bottom of the stand...

Let's not forget! This is also a #funkyedit and I have just the thing to share with you!

Pretty funky right?! Can you make out what this is? Not leopard skin sheets... certainly not underwear haha! To be quite honest, it's the shadow of the sunlight coming through our blinds onto the kitchen table. I know it was a missed opportunity to participate in dear @melinda010100's #shadowhunters contest, but I did want to giver her a special shout-out for the day! Don't know what I am talking about? Well my goodness! Check out her community below!

Oh... by the way. If you wanted to see that photo above, without the funky... here you go!

So then... I hope this post finds you all well. The summer month is here... lots of pollen mixed with sunshine and hot weather. The heat is really affecting me this year... guess it just means my MS is getting worse. Though I try not to think about that. Still haven't found a solution to our trailer yet. But as I watch the news, and read all of the posts here, on the blockchain. I am reminded of that famous phrase, "Someone always has it worse". For goodness sakes... tell your family you love them! Go out of your way to do something positive for someone. Smile... when all you want to do is a frown. We only get one chance, at this thing called life. So why not make it the best you can!
