Update: New Drumming community created. Future posts will be over there.
This community was started by @ale.photo, but he has been inactive on Hive for nearly two years. If a community moderator is not around and has not assigned roles such as moderator then the community may get abused.
I am happy to create a new community if there is demand. I need somewhere to put my drumming posts and share others I find.
Actually I created a guitar community ages ago, but seem to have lost the keys. Yes, even I slip up sometimes. That one is not too busy, so I may create a new one and be more rigorous in backing up the keys. As Hive grows we will need the moderation to deal with abuse in communities. I know it already happens in some of the bigger ones.
Hive communities are a great idea, but I think they are underused when it comes to bringing people with a common interest together. They should not just be about hunting for votes. I want to find posts that interest me, but may not follow everyone who posts about a given topic.
Communities are pretty cheap to create (3 HIVE), so why not create some to build something around whatever you are into?
I am declining rewards on this post. I get plenty of automatic votes and already did well from anther post today.
Hive five.
