Good day to you all here my tutors and learners on the hive Learners community.
It is so much amazing 🤩 to be here again here on hive today. Every day is always another to live on with happiness and appreciate life for all it brings our way.
Just like yesterday, we celebrated the new year, and today here we are almost done with one-third of the month, and with time the month would run to an end. We just have to keep appreciating our existence.
One thing I love about my life is that I just love the way I do my things. Most times I see myself in the market pricing stuff and at times I see myself in the supermarket piling up goods too. I just love my ability to adapt to changes and different environmental conditions.
My personality is mine and I would make sure to keep building on it and not making it a reason to regret. I know I am not yet the best version of myself but I am trying to be one.

This would take me straight to the word prompt for the week 44 edition 1 on the hive Learners community. And the topic to be discussed is ONLINE SHOPPING and PHYSICAL SHOPPING.
Shopping still has the same meaning, just the prefix before it made it have a different meaning. When you go shopping you still have the same mentality of buying goods, putting them in a cart, and paying prices for the goods.
But when we talk about physical shopping, it has to deal with the presence of the person shopping and the physical relationship between the buyer and the seller. This happens in supermarkets, fashion stores, markets, kiosks and shops, and some companies too. It has all its transactions be physical. So that’s just what makes that kind of shopping termed physical shopping.
While for online shopping, all transactions, buying and selling, and even making the payment are done online. In this system of shopping the buyer has the opportunity to choose from a variety of goods and make a choice online without getting to see the third party involved…
Both ways of shopping surely come with their advantages and disadvantages. And everyone surely has a choice to make. Take for example my elder brother loves to buy most of his stuff online, his clothes, shoes, meals, and many other things online. He just prefers that method over buying from a physical store.
But for me, I would always love to go for physical shopping where I would have the opportunity to select from the variety, I would have the chance to price, and also check how well it fits me. Another thing I love about physical shopping is the ability to feel the texture of what one wants to get and also have a first-hand look at the true color avoiding the problem of what you got vs what you ordered.
What you got vs what you ordered
Many times I would see people make complaints about getting the wrong product instead of what they have ordered and sometimes many would complain of oversized or undersized, and some would complain about the quality too. But all these are inevitable in as much as one makes the shopping online.
There was a day my brother had to order shoes online. He did so at his convenience without stress and that worked out fine. I was impressed by his selections and the response he got from the store. He picked up a doorstep delivery and finally his goods came around for him to pick up. These are amazing shoes 🤓. I liked them a lot. My brother unboxed them and was about to check how they fit. To his surprise all the shoes he ordered didn’t fit him except for one and that one was oversized.
I was pained by the amount of money he had spent to order them and the anticipation he must have endured before the delivery 🤓. Now the good is here but didn’t make him happy. I sympathized with him but later laughed at him for not wanting to go to the market and get his things.
The disadvantage of physical shopping is that there are times you would be stressed 😩 before you could get your choice and many times you would have to go from one shop to another before you can accomplish that, compared to online shopping where you just sit at your comfort, search and make your choice.
All in all, I still prefer physical shopping over online shopping.
