Good day to you all my tutors and learners here on Hive.
There is the saying “You Only Live Once”. And I agree with this 100 💯. Because once we come, we just get to live and then we return to where we came from. That's more of a reason why our ancestors could not make it back to life again. Though they might make it back who knows who they would be even if they got a new life. Maybe I am just the old Albert Einstein. How will I get to know?
But if I were asked about a new life and what I would want it to look like? If there is anything I could change or wish to change in my present life in exchange for the new one I would be given?
I love my present life and I don't know maybe that was because I am used to taking responsibility for my life and not blaming it on others. I believe I can live the kind of life I want only if I want it that way. So it’s my choice to make as no one would have to do it for me.
I can't keep anticipating being rich and yet have not even taken a step towards becoming one. There are some things I can't change even if I get to live another life. My gender, my family, my country, and my personality. I just appreciate my way and my lifestyle. I appreciate the people around me too.
My Gender
I would never have dreamt of changing my gender even if I were given another life. At times I look at my younger sister and wonder what if I were given birth to as a lady. 😂. I would just smile and take my mind off it. Men are leaders and will always be. So why do I have to change? I love my gender.
My country
Nigeria is my country. A country full of cruises and peace. You don't value what you have until you lose it. That is just the way it is for Nigerians. You can only know the true value of your country until you leave there for somewhere else. So my country is blessed with a lot of resources, even though it's yet to be fully developed like other countries. We still have peace and I appreciate it that way.
My family
They are just some of the best gifts life has given me. Despite everything, they were the first people I got to know in this strange world of ours and also they are still the best set of people that got me the most. Friends can and would leave at any time, but family won't. So even if I got a new life to live I would prefer to have my life with my family over and over again.
My personality
I don't know myself and I can't say much about myself either. But I hear people talk about who I am and my personality. I know I am not the perfect one. But I appreciate myself for being who I am.
###One thing I might love to change is my Family’s background and status.
We all know that money can do and undo. And having money is a factor in happiness. I don't want us to be filthy rich. But we should have enough to help others and live a good life. Get to spend when we need and not bother about the fact that money is a problem.
