Good morning this cold morning.
It’s another cold day here today as it has been raining non-stop for days now. Haha. This is what some people had been praying for, farmers would always remain happy to see it pour time without numbers as it would surely aid their farm produce to grow well🐑🦚🌿
But on the other side, we still have some people who this rain would be giving a hard time surviving. That’s just life for us. All in all, we all want to live a good life.
This would be taking me to the hive learners contest topic for discussion for week 20 episode 2 which is IN PURSUIT
Yeah, life for all of us is quite different and we have nothing much to do about it. Most times I look at myself and think over and over, why am I even created into this world? How come they give me a name and I would have to respond whenever they call me? How come I have to think about what’s next for me to do and what not ought to be done? This parallax of life is what brings us to do whatever we feel ought to be done.
For example, the blind man born to be blind must have thought of a way out of his blind self but since that is how he met himself then he just admitted to it. And yeah the rich man who also found himself rich must have thought his hard work brought them to him, yet some rich men go poor again and poor men grow rich. If those factors were natural like that of the blind man who couldn’t do anything about his eyesight, the same thing to the rich man and many other things in our lives.
As humans, we are subjected to make pursuits in life and this is one of our core reasons for existence. There is an economic term that says “diminishing returns”. The law has it that human wants are unlimited but it gets to some stages whereby we realize satisfaction in things we do and then our urge for those things begins to reduce drastically compared to the beginning.
Let's implement that in our daily life. When we were younger we thought about making more money and having a good life, having a good partner, and so on. But as time passes by, when we begin to see more into all these things, we realize that those things are just mere dreams but the reality is that when we get there we won’t feel those urges anymore. The same things goes for a poor man who seeks wealth. The urge for becoming wealthy is when we feel it, once the wealth comes we get satisfied and continue working towards something else.
In conclusion
I would say life is a pursuit on its own and we would continue to remain in pursuit till the end of our lives.
