I remain this humble soul who is always ready to appreciate my existence on the surface, once we realize that staying alive is never by our power or might then we know that all we have to do in life is to thank God for his mercy and grace over us.
No condition is permanent. Table Turns
We learn every day as no one is known to be an island of knowledge. We learn from animals, we learn from young ones, we learn from elders, we learn from our mates, and even enemies. You can't be so perfect to the extent that you don't need anyone’s help. There shall come a time you will have to need people around you, times you will want to listen to their words and see how your life will go.
Why do you think people consult experts? Or why do people visit and pay counselors for their words??
This is because we are humans and we need advice in our lives. We need advice on how to have healthy relationships among friends, families, and society. Advice could come from anyone.
It could be from our parents to children, from husband to wives, from boss to apprentice, from friends to friends, from strangers, or even some random words on billboards too.
Nigerians have this idea of placing stickers and making prints on their vehicles; it's seen as an act of adverts or passing messages across to other people around them.
There was a day I was trekking by the roadside, and I saw this truck that disposed of waste, the truck isn't that okay, it was so old and the engine sound could tell how worse it must’ve been. But at the side of the truck was a note “NO CONDITION IS PERMANENT.”
When I read this, a lot of life lessons ran through my mind. It passed a great message across to me within the short space of reading it.
My thoughts were;
The truck
The message here is that you should also know that this truck was once a new truck that everyone will want to sit on and have a ride. A truck with a new engine and a nice body. And when it was new then, it wasn't used for the carriage of waste.
But today that same truck of theirs has become a truck that everyone covers their nose while passing, it became an old wrecked truck with a smoky engine. And a truck that carries waste. No condition is permanent, all because you are everyone’s favorite today doesn't mean you will remain their favorite forever.
The driver
The present driver in charge of driving the truck with the waste might not be the driver when the truck was new. It's either the old driver is now driving a good truck while the present driver might have been driving a new truck before ending up driving the old one.
To the viewers
You might be walking on your foot today, or on a bicycle, motorcycle, or even from a nice car and reading from the truck, that should stand as a reminder for you that tomorrow you might turn out to be better and have a ride better than the truck, but you should also remember that it won’t remain like that forever because no condition is permanent.
