All the things that are made in our country, which are convenient for the public, the government spends for everything, although the government does not spend its own money, it is a tax collected by the public. It is used for the same. For example, hospitals are built, roads are built, flyovers are built, bridges are built, parking lots are built, and there are many other things that are useful for the public, so the government gets the expenses done for all these things. Now we If we talk about these expenses, then the government spends some expenses which are really commendable and which are very much needed by the public, like if a road reaches a remote village, then it is a great help to the public. Only if a good hospital is built in a remote village where all types of diseases are treated and all types of necessary health related tests are done, then it also proves to be a great help to the public and the expenditure that the government spends proves to be helpful and everyone agrees to this type of expenditure because it is for the welfare of the public.
On the other hand, many times we see that the government makes such expenses which are of no use to the public and in a way it is called extravagance because the money that the government is spending is given by the public in the form of tax. And if this money is not for the welfare of the public, then it will be called wasteful expenditure. The cost of government projects is in crores and in such a situation everything has to be done very carefully and keeping many things in mind because even a small mistake can cause loss of crores.

Now let me tell you about such expenditure by the government of our area which was really useful for the public and where we can say that this expenditure was done absolutely correctly. Many remote villages come under the city where I live, there are many villages where roads have not reached till date and there are no special arrangements for electricity and water. On the other hand, if we talk about a village which is about 50 kilometers away from the main city, it is a very remote village and is very high above sea level, about 30 to 40 families live in this village and these families The main source of income is agriculture, the people here used to eat what they grow in the fields and in the name of education, there was a government school in the village which was only till class 10, after that the children had to go to the city to study. Just a few years ago, this issue was very trending in the state government's assembly, then the first step taken by the present government for this village was to open a CHC here.CHC is known as community health center, in this CHC team doctors used to checkup all day and are always ready to provide emergency services anytime.
They were posted for this because many times people in the village used to have such emergency things which should have been treated immediately but due to being far away from the city many people could not reach the nearest hospital on time which was far from their village. Used to be far away, similarly due to lack of treatment, many people had to lose their lives, so this was a commendable decision of the government because in this the public also got emergency services and at the same time they were taught to get any kind of investigation done. There used to be a lab for that also where the sample was selected and sent to a big laboratory and from there the report was sent to the CHC.
Along with this work, the government did one more thing and made the government school there up to 12th so that the children do not have to go to the city to study after class 10th, and their education is done in the village and also the government fixed the main road which The road that had connected the village to the city was widened and it was asphalted as well, due to which it took less time to cover the distance from the village to the city, and at the same time people started getting the facility of traffic because earlier There was no transport facility, people had to walk till the main road, which was around 7 km from the village. But there is an exception here that the village came very late and here I remembered the famous Pahari poet Mahesh Chandra Punetha's line that "The road has come to the village when the whole village has gone to the city". From this line we can get an idea that due to the lack of facilities in the villages, the people living in the village start migrating and there comes a time when only a few people in the village are children. Those who are living there because of some compulsion.
Same i will tell you about such an incident in my area where I felt that the expenditure incurred by the government was useless. So this thing starts 1 year ago, at that time the condition of our local load was getting very bad, there were potholes in both places, due to which the travellers were facing a lot of inconvenience, due to which many times the road was blocked. Accidents were also happening, so when it remained like this for a long time, people complained and the government again worked on it and filled the pits of the road and then a new layer of road was climbed on top of it, well, the work was very good because smooth traffic It is very important for Ludo to be smooth. Then there was a proposal in the government that the areas which are deprived of sewerage line should be arranged for sewage line in those places also, then the government or the proposal was also passed.

Then the government started working on the sewage line as well and pet houses were being built at many places, due to which the roads were dug up again, due to the running of big machines, the road again got worse and then for some time Later the rainy season came and the work of those people was put on hold and then the condition had worsened because huge potholes had been formed on both the places, due to which the passengers had to face more trouble. After some time, the proposal of civil line was stopped because the government gave this process that if they do not have enough now, then this work will be put on hold. I call this thing wasteful expenditure of the government because the government should have first made an estimate of how much it would cost here and it was very important for the government to plan systematically because for the convenience of the public, the government Should have thought a little bit. Now it happened in such a way that the government had to refill the potholes made in the process of making the civil line and people had to be repaired again and the road had to be smoothed again. Because of this, more money was spent on the government and if it is seen in a way, then this money was of the hard work of the public and this money was wasted.So that's why any decision should be taken carefully.
