Changing The Mindset Of Men (success)
Adeola is a girl whose dream was to become a great girl. She wants to break the record of the first female to become rich in her town. This was because her people only believed in the men making name and fame instead of including the women. They all believed that the women's efforts are limited to the kitchen.
Adeola did not bother going to school but she was so brilliant as a girl child. She told her parents categorically that:
Mom… Dad….I'm not ready to go to school since you are not ready to attend to me as a girl. I will make it big and I will become the only one who can prove to all the men in this Community that women can bring out success out of the combination of me and even make it more bigger than the men who are underrating the women. I will show every man that I'm Adeola and I'm made for greatness.
Her parents were still doubting her and had the belief that every woman is bound to remain in the kitchen. Adeola remained glued to her dream and started working towards it.
While she was trying to help herself out of what she could do to break the gene, sheet Wale. Wake was the only one who can help her through advising as no one was ready to do so. She began to ponder on what she can do to be successful and came up with an idea which was brought by Wake. Wale asked her to state what she can do best and she mentioned sculpture carving. She can carve any form of image you want. Wale was initially disputing the choice she made but she strongly believed that she could make it great with her choice.
Adeola began to carve and take to the nearest village to sell. She was later known as the best carver in the community. Everyone in the community has been coming to meet Adeola for sculpture carving. Her name began to reign in her Community and the other Communities around.
One fateful day, the governor of her state was invited to open a museum in the state. The governor wanted to travel abroad for some official assignments, but decided to attend the inauguration of the museum. When he got to the museum, what he saw enticed him to the fullest. He asked the manager in charge to show him the one who carved the images in the museum.
Adeola was called to meet up with the governor which no one has ever done in the history of the state. She was the first female who hailed from his town to shake hands with the Governor.
Adeola's success begins from this day. She was praised by the governor and she told the governor to sit properly and to be in a posture. He was surprised but he did as Adeola instructed. So, she brought out the wood and her carving materials. Within some few minutes which was not an hour, she carved the Governor's image. It was the exact image of the governor. This got the Governor amazed and gave her a scholarship to study abroad.
Adeola, who does not want to go to school, went and indeed she came back successfully. It was a successful journey for her and she gave all thanks to Wale who has advised her throughout her quest and dream.
When she was twenty two, the Governor made her the commissioner of tourism. This made her dream, to be great, come true. She was successful and famous. She proved the whole men in her Community about women endingp in the kitchen wrong.
