I saw this topic so interesting and would not hesitate to say the one I want the government to restore if possible. In my community, I have tried to search for that amenity that we lack but was unable to pinpoint one, as we have almost all that is needed to make life comfortable. But after a critical search, I had to take my mind to my husband's community. This community is just like the heart of many other communities, as without that community, so many communities cannot survive. This is what I have seen and have confirmed. It is like a centre for different communities, and so it must have electricity no matter what.

I have always been going to my husband's hometown and have observed that they lack so many social amenities, ranging from electricity to water supply. The only good thing I can see there is the good road. When it comes to the aspect of road, to be sincere, the government tried a bit except for one side of the major road. Most of the streets are tarred, and this is just the great doing of the ex-governor of my state. I can give him great kudos, and he is a man to reckon with.
Now, we have just one major amenity that the government needed to fix, and it is so important when it comes to business. Nowadays, fuel is on the high side, and buying it would be a huge amount of money. Electricity is the backbone of business, most especially those related areas such as welding, tailoring, and the like.
To make things easier, electricity is essential, and I bet if it is out in place, it would be of great help to many people as well as companies.
During the era of this governor, electricity was brought to the community, but after a while, it was taken and never brought back again. The people of that community kept hoping for electricity to be restored, but all hopes were kept abortive.
It was a blessing during those periods, and everyone was in total enjoyment. Individuals had to accelerate to the market to buy deep freezers and other electronics appliances just to make their house look unique. It was a thing of happiness seeing electricity that period. They were going to the nearest town to buy electrical appliances, that is, to those who use generators, but immediately the electricity was brought, and many indigenous people started trading electrical appliances.
Shops with electrical appliances were countless, but that did not last for a year before red lights began to show up. The red light was a result of the bad government that took power. Who knows, it may be the leaders of the community, but then we have to put all the names on the government.
Back in the days, if asked the best amenities one would want in his or her communication, one would go for electricity because it is one of those things that kept a town busy.
Instead of the dwellers working effectively in that community, they were now taking their work/jobs to other communities that have electricity. What a shame!
Business is not moving so well, and everyone remains unhappy. Electricity is life, and when it is not present in a community, it becomes a different story to tell.
So, the government should do this for my husband's community just to make it standard, just like my community at least.
