Hello friends. Welcome back to my blog this beautiful day. It is very clear that we have come to the end of July, awaiting August by tomorrow. I wish us all the best.
Life is all about challenge. If you are not challenging someone to do something better, it may be you that is being challenged to become better in life. It is normal for us as humans to fell inferior to others at one time or the other. I believe that whoever you are, or whatsoever that you have, you must see someone or some people who are better off than you in some ways. These are sometimes the things that make us feel inferior to others. You can never have it all. Our people do say that you will be in one place and you will be admiring someone else who is in some where else.
Inferiority complex is an abstract noun. Just a feeling in us that makes us feel that others are better than us, maybe in wealth or education. It could even be in anyway.
Okay, the topic of the day for week 73 and edition 1 is - " Inferiority complex"
*Have you ever felt inferior to your peers? Or have you ever encountered someone who was in such a situation?
In so many ways, I feel inferior to my friends. Mine was majorly because of my educational status. Most of my friends were educated. So, sometimes when I am together with them, I feel as if I am not there mates. I do feel as if I am not sopposed to stand with them. They all speak queens English. They dress well as well. Sometimes I will even refuse to go out with them. But I still manage to go out with them, but I will never feel free all through out hangout.
Were you ever able to get past it?
At a time I could not take it again. I decided that I can also become educated like them, speak queens English like them and even dress well like them. I know that they only solution is by going to school. So I did. Going to school actually took away that feeling from me. I became bold among them. I started moving freely among them.
And what toll did it take on you? What did you learn from the experience?
I am very happy because of that feeling. It really helped me to discover myself. I took that opportunity to become educated. I am whom I am today because of that. If I never felt like that, I would not have gotten all the knowledge that I have today.
LESSONS FROM MY EXPERIENCE.
everything that happen to us is for a reason. Someone said that we meet in this life for a reason. Is either you are a blessing to me or a lesson to me. If I hadn't met with those friends who made me feel inferior, maybe by now I will still be in my former state. But thank God for that lesson for me.
