Life is full of ups and downs. Daily activities might really be engrossing and might be wearing out as well, that is why in life there must be balance in everything.
Many times we get engaged in a lot of activities forgetting we have a single life to live. The important thing is to maximize the full potential we have in us. We can only maximize this potential by creating balance in all we do. It's not about doing everything at the same, but it's about setting your priorities right and putting your best at what you do.
Most of the time we have lots of things to do at the same time, this is where the place of setting priority is very important.
However, At times we engage ourselves too much in things that are not important while neglecting things that are important and are beneficial to our life. I have come to discover that most times our body enjoy comfort rather than stretching in achieving positive things that will be beneficial to our lives.
Amidst all this, I have learned to set a balance in everything I do in life. There is time to work and there is time to play. I don't mix up the time to work for playing. I have learned to understand myself.
Most of the time I wake up as early as 4 am, I do my morning prayer and meditation for one hour, after which I start by doing house chores, reading, blogging on Hive, and also doing my online course. Sometimes I might have to go to church, market, or other places but I have learned to balance everything I do without lacking in any area.
In creating balance in all I do, I ensure I plan my day. Most times I draft out all I need to do for the day. I ensure I set out time for all the tasks and I tick them once I complete each of those tasks. This has really enhanced my productivity for each day. Amidst this, I ensure I set out time to rest. I understand the importance of taking rest, once I do this I become more energized. Planning my day has been of help to me in achieving my set goals.
Another thing I do is setting my priorities right, I try all means to start with the most important thing. I don't place the less important things at first, Just like we have in economics, the scale of preference. I scale each task based on the level of importance and this has really helped me to put in my best at everything I do. I discovered this act helped me to be more organized and productive in my daily activities.
Lastly, one major thing that helped me also is accountability. I have an accountability partner who is my husband. Most times I do send him my daily schedule and he always call to check if I have completed each task. This really helped me a lot. Sometimes I might feel a bit lazy to carry out does activities but at the thought of my husband calling to ask me how far I have gone with my daily activities, I quickly get back to work as soon as possible. He has always been my support system.
With all this, I have been able to manage my life and live a balance life and this has really been working for me for a long time. Living a balanced life relieves me of unnecessary anxiety and worries.
