Should age factor be considered when it comes to relationships? Anyway, as we all know, age is just a number and it depends on individual personality. As we all know, love is important when it comes to relationships. Do both parties love each other and are they both ready to workout any issue encountered in the relationship with love? This is an important question to be answered by the two parties.
The aspects of age factor in a relationship entails having an understanding partner who loves his or her spouse. Although based on the tribe I came from, my culture believes that the man should be older than the woman. They believed that when the wife is older than the husband, she won't be submissive, although the contrary is now happening. I have witnessed countless relationships where the wife is older than the husband and they are living peacefully.
Most times the question I do ask if any lady chooses to be in a relationship with a man who is younger in age is that " Is she ready to respect and submit to the man irrespective of the age difference?" If she said she would respect and submit to the man then I have no issue with the relationship.
As we all know every man wants a respectful and submissive wife, and whenever this is missing in a relationship, it brings a lot of argument and misunderstanding.

Personally, if I'm asked to date a man who is younger in age, it's a No for me. I prefer a man who is older than me and he should be older as well. The age difference should be between 2 to 5year difference. The reason why is that I find it easy to submit and respect a man who is older than me in age. Submitting to a man who is younger in age might be quite challenging for me. That's why I said initially that we have different personalities. I wont like to deceive myself i understand that sustaining love in a relationship requires possessing some attributes which include being submissive and respectful and if this is lacking in a relationship, such a relationship won't last.
I remember some years back when a guy proposed to me, I was a year older than him. He truly loved me but the issue I had was about the age difference. Even when he said we could work things out, I kept on saying No. The reason why was that I understood my personality and I didn't want to hurt him. I understand the issue of submission can arise in the future, so I decided not to accept his proposal.
In conclusion, Irrespective of my opinion, I believe everyone has a choice to make. As long they both can manage the relationship without issues irrespective of their age difference, then I believe there is nothing to worry about.
