some people come in our lives from nowhere unexpectedly and become an integral part of our lives. I never thought that I could find such a genuine and real relationship in the virtual world, but it happened. I always amaze at the time and consequence fabric of the universe how God has structured it to happen the things just at the right time. She was sent to my life when I was desperately in the need of a helping hand, a pacifying lap, an understanding friend and an inspiring mentor.
Our relationship didn’t start on the blockchain; however, it continued and strengthened because of the blockchain (the Hive platform). In fact, I am here because of her. She provided a set up for complete guidance and support on hive since day one of my journey here.
Where did I met her first? I met her on another blogging platform, named as Uptrennd (it no longer exists). She was the most shinning gem there. I often peeked into her post but couldn’t drop any comment there. I was afraid that I might not drop anything wrong (spam) that would ignite her anger (Hehehe. That was her first impression that I had developed as I had always seen her very much against the spammers). Anyways, one day I gathered the courage to drop a comment on her post, and her reply was quite encouraging so that I started commenting on her post often. Later, I joined a three weeks blogging initiative by her. This way I got some chance to see her a little closely on discord. Further I became a student of her uptrennd university (a virtual program for learning blogging and vlogging). Soon after that I reached her dm and we had occasional conversation. She once said to me, “Amber, you are easy to love.” I was like haaaaaa! Who is saying this to me who is loved by so many (she deserves that love ❤ by everyone because of her all the good qualities). Those words by a cheer leader were an honour for me.
Gradually the relationship started growing and there came a time when I wanted to reach her whenever I felt low, because she always has something to offer that would make me take the things in a different perspective. She wouldn’t always say that I am right but she would also admonish me for being at the wrong track (and that’s the sign of the true real friend, isn’t it?).
Uptrennd had died but the relationship had attained a new life on Hive. First, she set up a team to guide us about all the nitty-gritty of the platform. Then she continued giving the moral support to ease our journey here.
It is not just about blogging about which she has guided me but she has done much more than that. She encouraged me to solve the riddles of my life. She helped me figure out the knots that were the hindrance on my way to success. She helped me break the chains I was imprisoned in for so long. Her presence in my life made me fly again with zeal and eagerness. Her presence in my life let me dig down into my heart and let the buried dreems come to life again.
It is because of her encouragement and continuous nudging that I could set out for doing the actions I would otherwise never dare to perform. Those actions brought so many positive changes in my life and thus I came out as a better version of me. I am continuously on the tract of improvement and owe her for this. I am really very grateful to Allah for sending her in my life. He knows the best, indeed.
My relationship with her started as a leader and follower relation. Then it kept on upgrading. From a leader to a mentor to a friend and then a sister I would say that the relationship has always increased in strength. And I hope it would never lose the closeness it has acquired. Some of you might have already guessed whom I am talking about. She is none other than
My Tiger
