“Describe yourself". It is a question that looks more difficult than the sums of algebra and derivations of physics. It is not because I don’t know who I am (Lol. I am not talking about the time when I ask myself, “Who are you"). The difficulty of the question is its vagueness. There can be at least hundred ways in which the answer can be given. The other day when I angrily responded to my son's bidding (demands) “who am I?", he innocently replied, “You are my mom.” Very right. After all, I am. That’s the way he looks at me. A one word magical answer to every problem, “Mother.” Since, the blessing of children is in my life, the first thing that comes to my mind for my description is I am a mother. And why shouldn’t it be? Why wouldn’t you describe yourself with a word that you hear the most. A word that doesn’t allow you to poop freely. While you are trying to get rid of abdomen pain, there is someone outside the toilet creating pain in your heart by crying out loud “mom, mom, mom". When you come out in a hurry trying to fight the monster that dreaded your kid, you find out that a useless part of a toy is lost. 🤨 Who on the earth does this! Leaving the bowl moments half way just to find out the useless part of a toy is missing. Huuuh! “A mother, of course". That’s the first word to describe me.
What can be the other description for me? Well, there are several things I can tell but today let me take the opportunity by Hive Learner’s current contest to describe some silly facts about me. So, here we go
Lady with Dark Circles
Dark Circles around the eyes are one of my best companions which are not ready to leave me. They are with me for many years. I remember the beautician at the beauty parlour who did my bridal make up commented, “Oh my God! How dark are the circles around your eyes." Well, thanks to her make up that hid them on my special day. Usually, the hiding dark circle’s service is provided to me by my spectacles. I wear them regularly because I am myopic 🤓 with a number that demands me to wear them all the time.
I don’t think dark circles would ever go. Even if they get lighten after care for several days, only a day’s lack of care is enough to bring them back. The reason is poor sleep. I wake up when an on light is switched off or an off light is switched on. I wake up if someone near me moves or if there is any noise in the surrounding. Besides, there are dreams that keep me awake. I am not ready to give up on those dream so what I can do is to accept the dark circles.
Lady with Lesser Teeth
I always heard, adults have 32 teeth. If not 32, at least there are 30 teeth in a normal adult’s buccal cavity. Now, I don’t know if I am abnormal or paranormal that this fact stood wrong for me. Guess, how many teeth I have got? I only have got only 26 teeth. While there should be 12 molars, I have only 6 😵💫. Lately, when I visited the dentist, he asked me why I had to extract other molar. I was like “I never had to take them out. They never appeared in my jaws 😳”. This lack of teeth has caused several unusual issues in my other teeth, and there is no solution to them but to accept them. You know what, one of my greatest fear is to lose the only molar I have on each side of the lower jaw 😬. How would I eat properly without them.
Lady with Weirdo Feet
Yeah, my feet are quite weird. There is a beautiful sandal set in the showcase. As soon as it comes in my feet, oooops, it is lose from here, it’s tight from there, foot is coming out from front, it’s short from back, else it is simply not looking good in my foot 🙄. The shape of my feet make it difficult to get an apt sandal for me.
My feet are long and slim. If the size of slipper is correct length-wise, it is lose. If it is fit at instep, it is shorter in length. Consequently, I always wear similar style of shoes and sandals.
When the types of feet are described, classification is done on the basis of second toe, if it is longer or shorter than hallux. Well my second toe is longer than hallux which only 15% of people have. There is one more speciality in my foot. My third toe is also longer than hallux. Is there a classification for that as well? 🤔 I didn’t find, by the way. 😶
Lady with Extra Divisions in Fingers
Our fingers have usually three lines that appear on each joint. When we learn to count on fingers, we use those divisional lines to count three numbers on each finger. Well, 3 of my fingers have extra lines which make four blocks in those fingers.
Once I displayed these lines to a friend. She was like, “Do your fingers also bent from these spots?” Saying this, she even tried to fold my fingers from those points 🤪
What Makes Me stand Out?
Aren’t the aforementioned facts enough to stand me out? 👂 What! Noooooo? Okayyyyyy. My DNA is what makes me stand out. There is not a single person in 8 billion population who has DNA similar to mine. Is there any??? 😉
