We have been hearing about climate change for some time now. Whether these climate changes are beneficial or detrimental to us will be known only in the coming times. If we look closely at these climate changes, we cannot understand them properly nor do we try to research them. If you are facing melting snow, erosion of trees, and flooding, then it is really a cause of harm to us. Going forward, we can read and bear the consequences of this.
Since I belong to a village and I am associated with the agricultural sector, we have a weather routine that we follow in May, June, July, and August. The weather is hot and humid. Similarly, in November and December, it is cold and there is severe fog in January and February, which does not allow us to see anything at a distance.
But now this routine is slowly changing. This year, a lot of heat was felt at the beginning of March, and its intensity has increased immensely in June and July. This year, the temperature has increased from previous years. The record has been felt, which is a very dangerous situation and if this situation is not controlled, the temperature may go up further in the coming times.
One of the major reasons for climate change can be this. I am talking about my village. When I used to go for a walk in my village as a child, there were trees everywhere. But gradually, the process of cutting down trees started, and people started farming on large areas by cutting down trees. Now, about 10 percent of the trees are trees and more trees are decreasing. Now, keeping this situation in mind, we have to think about increasing the intensity of the weather. If this is not taken care of, the intensity of the heat may increase further.
The melting of snow on the mountains is also playing an important role in climate change because when the snow melts on the mountains, then floods occur in the rivers, as recently a high-level slab has occurred in the KPK area and these relays keep creating slab situations every year in the months of June and July. The impact also affects the plains, as in 2022, a few kilometers from our village, a slab destroyed a lot of land and crops, due to which Osama suffered severe damage. This situation is very dangerous because climate change is not beneficial for us, but it is causing damage, so we have to take steps to address it.
To face climate change and upcoming disasters, first of all, we have to grow trees, be it at the village level or at the city level, they can be beneficial for us and can help a lot in reducing the intensity of heat. Along with this, when can the slab situation be found? If we do our part, and if other people also participate in it, if we climb out and participate, we can control the increasing heat. A tree produces three times as much cool air and oxygen as today, so we have to go back a few years and see whether the temperature was under control or whether it was just slowly increasing. I don't think that much. In high temperatures, if you rest in the shade of a tree, you get cool air without any extra charge and this shade and air are beneficial for your health. I try to focus on planting as many trees as possible. I have also planted some trees in my yard so that I can benefit from their shade in the coming summers. The government should make arrangements to control climate change and focus on planting trees wherever possible. This can be very beneficial for our future generations. Along with government initiatives, institutions, and government and non-government organizations should also pay attention to this. Especially, the school administration should educate every child about the benefits of planting trees and ask them to plant trees in their areas, homes, and through their parent, and the atmosphere can be saved from pollution and dirt.
