Due to the Courtesy of Social Media, everyone has the right to share his or her opinions, thoughts, ideas, and criticisms about an organisation or company easily. There was a time when we had to write a letter and deliver it to another country after months. No doubt, social media has bridged the communication gaps between people. This speed has brought both advantages and disadvantages. I appreciate the role of social media, but I discourage its negative use.
Job Limitations And Socialism
Although we now have the fastest means of communication, our freedom of speech is reserved. Many Countries have a firewall network; if anyone shares wrong information or disrespects someone, it will be caught easily by agencies. Due to Unemployment, many people depend on the private sector for their jobs. These private companies have set rules that we have to follow, whether we are willing or not. If we want to continue our job we have to obey their strict policies. When we are working in the private sector then we are not free to post on social media.
People, although they know the word Freedom of Speech on social media they are facing censorship either by the government or by the institutions where they are working. This censorship is sometimes good because it can stop the spread of rumours or fake news. Censorship leads to punishment in many instances. But it limited our freedom and privacy.
As we are getting strict monitoring and surveillance on social media hence we can't express ourselves freely. Especially when we are a teacher, an employee, or a labourer in a company. If we post something against the values of the company where we are employed, then the company reserves the right to take action.

Every year, many big companies in Pakistan, like Saphire or Nishant, both terminate thousands of employees for the sake of conduct and actions. These companies claimed that their employees have damaged their values by sharing the wrong information or breaking privacy rules on social media. When the Labor Department scrutinized the data, some laborers were found guilty and some were found innocent. If someone has crossed the limits or harms the values of a company then complete dismissal should be last option instead of 1st. As Princess has mentioned in her latest article, we should give them at least one chance. I agree with her and will recommend three chances at least before complete termination. Sometimes employees are not well aware the Norms what they have shared about their companies on social media. Instead of complete dismissal, there should be one or two charge-sheet or penalties system that will work better.
Final Thoughts
In this world, we have slippery slope system. If something is wrong and spread on social media it will have long lasting effects then it didn't matter what social influence you have. Wether we are government or private employees, we have set of boundaries and we have social censorship. Although our post didn't have harrassment, political abuse, or social harms but it can be against the policies of companies and harmful for its values. Hence, we should avoid these sorts of actions. If our employees has done against our values then complete dismissal is not a suitable option. We should give him or her at least one chance for improvement. After three mistakes, we can take these sorts of strict options.
