I have heard from my parents that people were connected with each other by heart when there was no phones. Whenever, there was someone we know were having health issue then we used to visit at their home and not only relatives but also friends. They would have a good time with each other. Now we are living in an artificial happiness with virtual friends. I am from this generation and I do agree with the facts that phone is something which has distanced ourselves from our loved ones.
Well I think that life was simpler before but also without the phone it must be more critical. In recent time I can explore the world with my phone just in few seconds. Moreover, right now I am writing this post through Mobile also I am always using it on a valid purpose and not for time pass. I am not addicted to it. But I rarely get out of my room or anywhere moreover, for one day I decided to experiment without a phone for 24hrs.
- I woke up myself 1hour earlier which is before 7 am. I guess my subconscious mind woke me up before the time because today I did not set any alarm and it’s not gonna ring.
- After that I was talking face to face with mom and dad and they said that today you are talking to us as in person. And asked me if anything went wrong. After that I had breakfast with my parents and did not use the phone and finished my breakfast faster than before.
- I wanted some notes so I couldn’t contact my friend that’s the reason I went to her house for it and I walked there. It was one kind of Physical activity for me.
- I was feeling hungry so I went outside and I paid the bill of my snacks by counting rather than trying to use the calculator app on my phone anyways I didn’t bring my phone with me. It took me a while and the cashier was giving me a look which was kinda embarrassing that I forgot how to do simple math.
- I am doing IELTS course so it’s my first time learning new English words which I have never used before so I can’t use the google to browse the meaning so, I got my dictionary book in my hand and I looked for the word meaning.
- At night we watched a movie together and had popcorns.
- Suddenly while studying out of nowhere it started to rain and I was watching the raindrops falling out of window today rather than checking my phone for time pass. It was very soothing I was very calm.
- I went to bed and was looking at the ceiling moreover, thinking about what I have to do tomorrow also planned few things and after a while I fell asleep and didn’t realise it that I could sleep this early which is 10pm.
I found some changes in my life Just in 24 hours without the phone. I had confidence in myself that I can do it and I was able to do it. If I have the intentions to live by myself without any help from the phone then I can do it. Anyways, only one thing that could make me stay away from the phone which is none other than but only me because in my opinion one needs actual desire for it. Like if you truly want to spend some quality time with yourself and your family then it can prevent you from using the phone.
I would say the benefit of staying away from phone is that you are all by yourself and can spend some family time also can enjoy the environment of nature. There is no human value anymore and there is to be seen commonly a communication gap because people are being like electronic zombies. So, I think I should spend some more time without the phone when I don’t have any works to do instead of scrolling.
Currently social media is full of pretenders. If they were really interested in you then they would call you and give you attention or visit you personally. It’s acceptable when someone is busy but actually most of the time people would just say things but never show in actions.
I have seen mothers are providing phone to their child at such young age but they are supposed to play outdoors. Just because they don’t wanna eat or do something I have seen parents will allow their kids to use phone so that they would finish their food or any other thing. I have a cousin who would not eat anything without playing games on the phone and he is only 8 years old. Like if you don’t let him use the phone he would cry loudly and roll over the floor.
Well, using phone is good there is nothing wrong in it but we are the ones who has to use it with self control and use it for strict purposes anyways in my opinion it is a chaos if people get themselves lost into it. Phone is very important in our daily life in this day. Because phone helps us in emergency cases like if anyone is sick we can call ambulance and also fix a meeting through phone. Our friends and family didn’t get free time so we can do a video call and have a talk. In this generation phone is very beneficial also it is a disaster if it’s not used in a proper way. We need entertainment our phone has many features. Online payments specially has make our life easier we don’t have to carry big amount of cash anymore. Anyways, Everything has a bad and good impact on our life but we are the one who should realise and control ourselves. Phone is important but we should always make sure not to get addicted.
