Vaccinations have always been a topic of debates even with the literate and illiterates,to some people it has nothing to do with educational background,it's just their beliefs that is in play. Science still continue to prove themselves in protecting the health of the people but there is still fear of needle. For someone like me,it's not just about vaccines but also the needle,I don't like to be injected at all,so anytime I'm sick I don't go for injections,I have the phobia for it,so it's not an easy thing to accept just like that, the same goes with vaccine too.
Most of the fears concerning vaccines are not based on facts but on strange plans that grow wild due to crises. The worst part is that some people prefer to be ill than go for the vaccination. Trust me I have come across some of this crazy theories, theories that have no facts but based on human lies or assumptions.
One of them is that vaccines are used to implant microchips into people. Some people genuinely believe that all vaccine comes with a tracking chip that was hidden well or that we cannot see and can be used to monitor our movement and maybe one of this days only people with the microchip will be able to interact in the society e.g like buying, selling or building or working too.
People believe this was created by powerful elites in the society and it's just their way to inform us that they are powerful than we are and we won't be able to do anything without them. This theory was popular during the COVID-19 pandemic,it was even believed that some took the vaccines and died immediately. Alot of people, especially in less-informed communities, accepted it as fact.
Another claim is that vaccines are part of a population control strategy, that it was designed to either reduce child birth or spread diseases instead of preventing them. This theory is really bad because it makes people loose hope or trust in healthcare administration or science, what is painful the most is that parent in the rural areas have withheld their children from been vaccinated which can in turn lead to lose of life or body damage due to lack of knowledge.
Now, do I take vaccinations seriously? Absolutely, I believe in protecting myself and the people around me. I know I took vaccine when I was a child and I have seen mothers taking their baby for vaccination.
The idea is to prevent any form of unforseen diseases or illnesses,I might be scared of needle but that doesn't stop me from been vaccinated when there is need for it.Being cautious to me is about finding facts and making wise decisions, misinformation spreads faster than diseases itself. People who refuses to listen to medical advise ends up been a vegetable, they will now come back for it but by then it would have been too late. So it's better to make hay while the sun shines.
