Homebodies No More: Stepping Out for a Night in the Wilderness

Although most of my holiday time is spent at home, sometimes I go out somewhere with my friends and this happens very rarely. Earlier, when everyone was in the same city, everyone used to make plans and go out anytime, but now when everyone has got a job, everyone is in different cities. Yes, some of our friends are still in the same city. This is a very good thing but we know that socializing is a job. But whenever we all are together, we plan to go somewhere or plan a movie. Yes, many people in my office keep traveling and they take a trip to some place or the other in about a month or two. But I don't go anywhere, firstly, this year I am facing some financial problems and there are other reasons why I am not able to go travelling. But this time during the holidays we have planned a night out which we will spend in the forest.

There are office holidays in the last two months of December, so not all of us but about seven to eight people are planning to go camping at night and for that, we have also started ordering things like a tent, torch, and sleeping bag for the night and And a lot more. Some people are very excited and a WhatsApp group has also been formed for this we are continuously talking there and everyone is sharing their ideas. this feels good seeing this and maybe this time we will go camping at night, it will be exciting too. Most of the year I used to celebrate holidays with my family but this time I feel like doing something different, let's see what happens. There are a lot of plans being made right now, let's see what happens when the time comes, there are many people among them who say yes now and refuse to come at the last moment. And this happens everywhere, perhaps it happens to you too. Some people have compulsion but some people do it out of compulsion.

We will not go very far for camping. The place we have chosen so far is at a distance of about 30-40 kilometres from my house and we all will go by bike. We will leave comfortably in the morning at 10 or 11 o'clock and reach there by day. And then make all the arrangements for the night stay awake all night and come back the next day. Let's see what else happens, for now, this is the plan the one who drinks alcohol will bring liquor for himself, the vegetarian one will bring veg ingredients for himself and the one who is non-veg will bring ingredients for himself. Yes, we have thought about food and drink but have not yet decided what we will take with us, we will cook food there in the forest at night, as of now this is the plan, rest let's see what happens, only then will the real fun of camping come. And we are thinking that the more people there are, the better it will be because nowadays there is a danger of wild animals in the forest at night. If there is a little crowd then perhaps the wild animals will also stay away. Many people go to hotels to spend their holidays, but I don't like that much because it seems quite strange how you leave the house and go to another room.

Many of my office friends keep travelling, so they have a good idea of the place and they have suggested a great place. I have full hope that the place will be very beautiful and we will have a lot of fun all night long there. Let's see what happens, how many times it happens with us that we plan a lot of things but when the time comes, we have to postpone it due to some reason.
