It is said that when it is dark, we need light more and it is said that when it is dark, we appreciate light. We don't need that much light throughout the day, but as soon as night falls, we start feeling the need for light. Nowadays, living without light seems impossible because we all have become accustomed to living in shining cities. But there are still many villages and areas where electricity is not available. Yes, there are other different methods of lighting like lamps or solar-powered lights, but if there is darkness then it seems very strange.
Electricity came to our village only a few years ago. Earlier we used to run on solar energy only. We had to face a lot of trouble whenever we had to go to the village. I don't know how people live without light. Nowadays we depend on light for everything. From our phones to our watches, everything is smart these days and everyone needs to charge it.

It is about those days when I was in school, there were not so many electronic devices available but still, I also had a second-hand computer in those days and I used to stay in touch with my friends through it because at that time there were no smartphones. I used to run Facebook by installing a dongle on my computer and that too in Internet Explorer. You can imagine that at that time I did not know much about computers to install any other browser. To tell you the truth, I was scared of the very name of the computer and even if I installed something new, I was scared. but now slowly I learned a few things and am still learning them. At that time, perhaps we were on holiday and there was snowfall outside. In those days, due to snowfall for a few consecutive days, electricity transformers were stopped and lines were also broken at many places due to the falling of trees.
So there was no light at all for about a week, we did not even have an inverter and till then perhaps I had not even heard the name of the inverter. Many people still had electricity in their homes, they were provided with inverters for a few days, but after that, there was no electricity because due to lack of lights in many areas, the entire city was seen immersed in darkness at night. After a day or two, when people came to know that there was still electricity in some places, people started revealing their identities so that they could get their phones charged. Going there, it was worth seeing that there was a crowd of people waiting to charge their phones. Yes, phones were not used that much, once the mobile was 100% charged, it used to last for a week, but now it is very difficult to run the mobile on full charge even for a day, so the phone is only used for calls. It used to be a phone, but now nothing happens without a phone.
It had become very difficult for me to spend those 7 days. I used to spend the whole day doing school work but I used to get very bored at night. Yes, I was happy that I did not have to read a book at night, but All this lasted only for a day or two, after that my father had arranged for light (gas light)from somewhere and even at night I had to study again but I did not feel like it, but it was not of much use, so of what was it, I did not talk to my friends for so many days and was not able to know what was going on in someone's life, that was making me sadder in those days, but now see, we all have phones and very high-speed internet too. Still, despite being close to each other, we are so far away from each other.
When we do not have something then we feel its value. It was quite difficult to spend a whole week without light. If the same thing happens now, it will be even more difficult because now we have become more dependent on electronic gadgets and Believe me, if an internet facility is not available in your house for electronic things, especially mobile laptops, and many other things, then a lot of your time is spent and you can do a lot of things in your free time, even if you do not utilize it properly, but your Your eyes will definitely get rest and so will your body because if you don't do anything then it is a side effect that you will get bored and you will fall asleep even if you don't want to.
