Hello everyone, how are you doing this evening? We are now in a new week, and it is going great so far. We have worked hard and smart so that by the weekend we will have accomplished enough to rightfully relax and enjoy it.
Today, I would love to talk to us about one topic that all of us as bloggers may come across once in a while. It is that particular force that goes against the success of our blogs. But also, it is a very normal aspect of the life of a content creator. And what am I talking about? Writer’s Block.
Writer’s Block is one of the downsides of being a writer. It does not matter if you are writing a novel or an article. Provided it has to do with thinking, there are times when it will just be as if your brain has simply vanished from your body.
You will be looking at your computer screen or pen and paper, you know what you want to write down, and you know everything. But just transferring that from your head to the computer or paper is just impossible. Everything will be blank, and it will be as if you do not have content.
If you find yourself facing these challenges every once in a while, do not fret. It is a perfectly normal feeling that happens even to the best of us.
There are different causes of writer’s block, it could be stress, tiredness, distractions, etc. when these things weigh down the brain, it would be a bit difficult for the mind to focus on the write-up.
So, when you have writer’s block, what do you do?
First of all, know that you are not going to write anything at that moment. So just postpone your writing and do something else. It could be another chore, or it could be a form of relaxation, just do something that gets your mind off what you are about to write.
Also, if you feel it is because you are tired, then you probably need a little rest which will help refresh your brain. Good food and fruits also go a long way in boosting brain activity.
By the time you are done, then if you feel you are ready to write it, you will find that it will flow easier now. The mind is most creative when it is at peace. If there are distractions all over the place, both external and internal, then it would be hard to concentrate.
So, my dear friends, how often do you get faced with a problem like this? What methods do you employ to tackle it? Feel free to let me know in the comment section.
Thank you for reading, till we met in the next post.
