I'm on break. Well, school has resumed, but I'm yet to resume. Give me a couple of weeks more, please. The past few days, I've been waking up sometime Round 9am. It's not usually so for me. I wake up quite early, but these days, because I stay awake late into the night, I tend to sleep until quite late in the morning. By the time I'm up, I go about to do the dishes, if there's any, clean around the house if need be, whip up something to eat and also clean myself up. By the time that I'd be done, it could be noon.
I'm usually not the one who seeks help, especially with domestic stuff. I'm just the person who would rather that no one's in my way when I need to do what I need to do. Cleaning is where I have a firm hold cause it's something I have come to enjoy doing. Cooking, on the other hand, isn't the same for me. I say it a lot that I don't enjoy the activity. I would ditch it for a lot of things. Not because I can't do it but because I don't enjoy it as much.
So, of course, yes, if I had the resource and there was actually a robot that could make my meals for me, then why not? Even with cleaning, I'd let a robot do it. I may not be satisfied with the result, but then, it would take most off the job off me, and that's okay. After all, the essence of working hard is so that a person can afford to outsource certain tasks and live a less stressful life.
However, in regards to childcare, I'm not sure I'd leave that job to a robot. Like, it's a robot and not a human. However, sofisticated and programmed, it is made to avoid complications and to perform duties or act human like it still isn't human. It doesn't have the feel, the senses, the affection, just as a human would. One of the rings that we all would agree that somehow affects human relationship and is being a threat to human life and communication is technology and having a robot play a role that requires affection and attention from a real human is unthinkable. I'd rather have a help do that. But a robot? No way. It could take on every other task around the house.
These robots are made to serve a purpose, which is to take the wprkload off people and ease their stress. So why not? Im not sure there's anyone who enjoys being stressed and having to do too much work that doeent particularly bring them satisfaction.
There's a lot I would do if these tasks are taken off me. I could try out new things or focus on my hobbies. I'm not even sure why this is part of the question cause there's a lot to do. And even if there's nothing fancy that i have to do, how about sleep and rest? It's good for my physical and overall well-being, yeah? Yes!
Thanks for gracing this post.
Greetings!
