Our hobbies are activities we partake in frequently and/or whenever called upon to.
I do not really do anything that everyone might consider interesting but they are exciting to me. Ring me up whenever on their account and I'd be game.
UnsplashFirst of, I enjoy teaching. Imparting knowledge especially when it is related to young children. You may have read once or more times about my experience being an educator. It's something of delight to me.
And I think teaching gave me my first salary. And for all we know, learning never goes out of fashion. People are all on the path to gaining knowledge, and are willing to pay.
Almost every knowledge can be monetized. There's organizing webinars, putting out video content, email classes, virtual classes, making ebooks, whatever media one can imagine.
Another hobby of mine is Reading (beaming to myself knowing I just put down the book 'Under the udala tree' to write this). I'm a lover of books. Good books. Never a day goes by that I don't read atleast a page. It's so refreshing immersing myself in the pleasures of a book. The experience is always amazing. The benefits? Numerous.
Courtesy this topic, I had to think of ways I could monetize this hobby. Seemed a little trying but I got it. It's possible to record myself reading a book and put it out there for those who would rather listen than read a book. This hobby sort of brings me to the next one...
Writing. I write for a living. I write any and everything, meaningful tho. Being good a reader, I could make book summaries, draft schedules, and do whatever jobs that require pen-crafting. I'd do those with so much joy. And thanks to Hive, this skill is already fetching me some bucks. I do not have to just write for my viewing pleasure alone. I now write, read and earn from it. Ain't that great?
To the final and odd one, I love cleaning. Whatever the tidying job is, just as far as I get a neat finish, I am in. My reasons for liking this are unlimited that it sometimes feels like I have no reason at all. I just always engage. This one here is already a business path for numbers of people. There's the option to clean homes,finished buildings, offices and the likes, and get paid. My hands are always itching to rearrange or declutter or put things in place. It's something that I do subconsciously. If I am in a space, this is the first thing people notice me by. I just cannot help it. This should have been at the top of this list, but well...
The above are the hobbies I know I am addicted to. None of these bore or tire me out, rather, they do the opposite. Don't know if there are other ways that they could be monetized and I am open to acquiring that knowledge.
