When you go to make enquiries about learning a particular skill, you'll mostly find that a lot of them requires you to stay for at least six months before they can declare you skilled enough to handle things on your own. This is because, within that time, you get to not just master the craft but also learn different techniques and the how's and how-nots and business aspects of it all.

Months earlier, during a semester break, I thought I wanted to learn a skill and being someone who's fashionable and likes her outfits tailored to her frame plus, tailors de chop my money on a steady!
I thought it wise to just go learn the art of clothing making. The aim was not so I vould make a business out of it(but if it went up to that...of course, I'd be happy to), but so I could begin making my own outfits and saving up the heavy sums I always spent. I had a sewing machine at my disposal, so I didn't think I would have any hitches. However, upon finding a fashion school that appealed to my eyes and taste and upon inquiry, I was told that the minimum I could be there was two years. Nada! I couldn't be there. I was barely in the vicinity, so I couldn't start even though the fee was fair. You see? Two years.
Meanwhile, years back, I enrolled to learn all things nails; nail fixing, polishing, nail grooming, and even lash care.
I didn't finish my tine there for reasons I would rather withhold, but I must say that within a month, I already had ground knowledge and fair mastery of most of what went down.
A skill that gives just a time run of one month to learn, and I could just choose this one. I'm quite a quick learner, and this one skill requires constant practice and precision to get it all done. It isn't that hard. Notwithstanding, I wouldn't pick it. Photography happens to top it on the chart.
I identify as one who's fairly good but infront and behind the camera. In recent times, however, I've found myself more behind the camera. Nah, I don't own a DSLR. I've held one but never operated it. But I use the camera on my mobile phone a lot. I'm crazy about picture taking that I can't be anywhere, and those who know me wouldn't be so sure that I took some shots.
I research on everything mobile photography from angles to settings and everything else in between, and so far, I have quite some knowledge that I know would be instrumental to ensure that if I embarked on a one-month photography training, I'd excel at it. Videography inclusive(might stumble on editing hindrances, but i could always learn cause my interests in this field as a whole is heightened). When compared to every other skill I may already have and may be interested in, this is likely the one that I will have more interest to be consistent it and will gain mastery of in little time.
Thanks for gracing this post.
