Good day, amazing people of the Hive Blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #hivelearners community. I am so delighted to participate in this week's prompt: money begets hygiene.
Hygiene is very important for every human; it helps in our total well-being and prevents us from harmful diseases and germs. Hygiene has nothing to do with money; whoever thinks that money begets hygiene is sick and needs treatment. Hygiene is a personal discussion; it has nothing to do with money. I have seen rich people that are not clean, but the money is there. There is something about being rich and having the money to purchase the things you want and living a luxurious lifestyle. There are some rich people; if you enter their house, you will be amazed with what you will see, from entrance cloth everywhere to the room being so dirty. The money is there, but they are dirty. This is why I said that hygiene is not about money but personal decisions.
When you are rich, you live a life of no stress, which means you can pay people to clean your house and do laundry for you. Someone who is neat will not call for assistance; they will still live in that environment neatly. During my days in the university, my roommate is from a very wealthy home; when you see her outside, she is beauty, but when it comes to cleanliness, she is zero. One weekend I decided to follow her home; what I saw I couldn’t stand. The whole place was so tidy I was like, You guys have all the money; why not employ people to clean your house on a daily basis?. I have to put a call across to industrial cleaners because I can’t imagine myself sleeping in such an environment. I don’t know if I am the only one that can’t exist in a dirty environment.
I always tell myself that charity begins at home. Hygiene is not just about dressing sweet and beautiful; how clean are your surroundings and personal hygiene? You don’t need much to be clean, and it will take you nothing to be clean. One fact is someone who is hygienic doesn’t need money to be clean; with the little they have, they are tidy and clean. You see, hygiene is all about our mindset and the way we are being wired; cleanliness is not about the money you earn. Hygiene should not be about money; if you are someone that loves being clean, you will always top up your game no matter how small your pocket may be.
Every member in my family knows how much I love being clean, and they always make sure that they are clean too. You see, hygiene has nothing to do with money; it all depends on our mindset, your values, and your reputation. Money will and can never be a source of hygiene; rather, it is our personal decision to keep our surroundings clean, not minding our pockets.
We should always have this at the back of our mind cleanliness is next to godliness.
