There are thousands of things I enjoyed when I was a kid that really made life enjoyable for me but are now gone into extinction. Seriously, this topic is one of the amazing topics I have come across this week. I will surely read people's comments to know what they will bring back to life. This topic reminds me of the old good days when life was so sweet, fun and enjoyable, not now that civilisation has opened the eyes of the people. Seriously, I would like to bring back the old days where life was very easy for the people living in it. This new life is really showing us pepper because if it is in my powers, I will bring back those things we enjoyed back then.
I have a whole lot of things I would love to bring back to life, but there is this particular i will love to bring back to life if is within my power and is decent dressing.Those are the good days when our youth understand the importance of decent dressing; they don’t go on the road half-naked all in the name of fashion. More especially our young girls. I can remember in the 90s and the early 20s when people dressed decently and understood that their body was their pride and should not be exposed. Back then kids were not just raised by their parents alone; the community also helped. Currently, no elder went to correct a kid for her indecent dressing; such a child would run and insult the elder that tried to correct her.
Most times when I see kids that dress indecently, I feel ashamed of myself that things like clothes that cover are being exposed for people to see. The funny thing is they don’t feel ashamed of themselves; I walk confidently on the street without shame.
Most times I ask myself, is it that they don’t have people who direct and correct them? But I find out in most cases their parents talk, but the kids don’t take corrections seriously. I miss those old days when parents didn’t take nonsense from a child. Once you are misbehaving, they will beat the living hell out of you.
Back then a girl child couldn’t be seen on the road half naked; decency was the order of the day. Since this civilisation of a thing, everything has gone west. Today I was going to the market to get things for the family there was this young girl that walked past me. She is not up to 18 years, but the cloth she was wearing was transparent. I stood there for some minutes worrying if that young girl didn’t come out from home. I was so ashamed of myself; I was asking myself, What is this generation turning into?'
Bringing back our old dressing will really be nice because our girls are really going south. It will help the world be a better place. In several cases, we have rape cases; most of these young girls are victims of rape because of indecent dressing. If we can go back to our old dressing, it will really be nice and reduce the level of indecent dressing in our country. If we can go back to our decent dressing, it will bring back the pride of a woman that has been lost a long time ago. Decent dressing is the pride of every woman.
