Technology is something that is all around us and we know that it is also constantly advancing. No matter the direction, where we look, there is a TV, a cell phone, a car, a refrigerator or anything else that didn't even exist 100 or 500 years ago.
If we stop to think, nowadays human beings no longer live without technology, even glasses are technology. There was a time when a 40 or 50 year old man could no longer see anything, but thanks to glasses, he and anyone can see again. This shows how technology is present in our lives and this causes our interaction with nature to change considerably.
A Future Without Jobs?
I once read somewhere on the internet that according to an expert, 80% of jobs will be done through AI. It is logical that if we analyze this, humans would never allow it to reach 100%, because whether they like it or not, this would be impossible as there will be jobs where people should just "control" what the AI is doing. Without a doubt it will be that 20%.
I don't believe that in the future, there will be no jobs for us, especially because we are constantly evolving technologically. What could happen is that jobs we were used to doing, especially those repetitive, will be automated. Even in medicine today, there are studies so that a robot can even perform [head swap] surgery(). As it is a very complex surgery, only a robot would be able to perform it.
So, medicine as we know it today could be "threatened" by changing completely. People in the future will no longer need to study in colleges to become a doctor. It is likely that, as I said before, they can study to be able to control one or two medical AI in the hospital, for example. The point is to understand that our role will have a transformation in everything we know today. But being without a job? I don't believe that can happen.
Technology Advances At Absurd Speed
Imagine what it was like in the Middle Ages, at that time the most common job that existed at that time was agriculture, right? The peasant had his piece of land and from there he planted crops and raised his cattle. Most of the time it was in agriculture where employment was most concentrated. He needed to spend the whole day to get food and also support his family.
As time went by, people no longer needed to just take care of the land. Other employment needs began to emerge and today we have machines that do much of this heavy work that was previously an exclusive part of human beings. And what are people doing in this current agriculture? Precisely controlling these machines.
With AI, it will be something similar in the future. New types of jobs will be created and what are you and I doing now? We are on a digital platform. Do you imagine that at that time in the Middle Ages someone would have thought that there would be this type of "work" where just typing could bring us some type of income? Definitely not. And this is how, in about 100 years, things could change again.
Here in Brazil, we have a big problem when it comes to jobs where people go to college to look for a place in the job market. It is quite common to see Uber driver with a degree in Civil Engineering, Lawyer or even Professor. There is a crisis in this sense, as there are not enough vacancies for so much demand. It's no surprise that we also see a large number of people on social media being influencers when they are successful in what they do.
The alternative that I can say will be the best path is for these people in the future to specialize in a course where they will be able to understand AI better. Or, look for other ways as mentioned above. Employment will never end for us, it will only transform. We are flexible people by nature and throughout our history we have proven this and we will be here to adapt as we always have.

A tecnologia é algo que está ao nosso redor e sabemos que também está em constante avanço. Não importa a direção, para onde olharmos, existe uma TV, um celular, um carro, uma geladeira ou qualquer outra coisa que há 100 ou há 500 anos sequer existia.
Se pararmos para pensar, hoje em dia o ser humano não vive mais sem tecnologia, até um óculos é tecnologia. Houve um tempo em que um homem de 40 ou 50 anos não enxergava mais nada, mas graças ao óculos, ele e qualquer pessoa pode voltar a ver novamente. Isso mostra como a tecnologia está presente em nossa vida e isso faz com que a nossa interação com a natureza mude consideravelmente.
Um Futuro Sem Empregos?
Uma vez eu li em algum lugar na internet que de acordo com um especialista, 80% dos empregos serão feitos através de AI. É lógico que se analisarmos isso, nunca que os humanos deixariam chegar em 100%, pois querendo ou não, isso seria impossível já que haverá empregos onde pessoas deverão apenas "controlar" o que a AI está fazendo. Sem dúvidas serão esses 20%.
Não acredito que no futuro, não terá emprego para nós, até porque estamos em constante evolução tecnológica. O que pode acontecer é que empregos onde estávamos acostumados a fazer, principalmente aqueles repetitivos, serão automatizados. Até na medicina hoje em dia já existem estudos para que um robô possa inclusive fazer uma cirurgia de troca de cabeças. Por ser uma cirurgia muito complexa, apenas um robô teria condições de executá-la.
Então, a medicina como conhecemos hoje poderá sim ser "ameaçada" por mudar completamente. As pessoas no futuro não precisarão mais estudar nas faculdades para se tornar um médico. É provável que, como eu disse antes, possam sim estudar para poderem controlar uma ou duas AI médicas no hospital por exemplo. A questão é entender que o nosso papel terá uma transformação em tudo o que conhecemos hoje. Mas, ficar sem emprego? Isso não acredito que possa acontecer.
A Tecnologia Avança Numa Velocidade Absurda
Imaginem como era na Idade Média, naquele tempo o emprego mais comum que existia naquela época era a agricultura, certo? O camponês tinha seu pedaço de terra e dali ele plantava e criava seu gado. Na maioria das vezes era na agricultura onde o emprego se concentrava mais. Precisava passar o dia inteiro para conseguir comida e também sustentar sua família.
Com o passar do tempo, as pessoas não precisavam mais estar apenas cuidando da terra. Começaram a surgir outras necessidades de emprego e hoje temos as máquinas que fazem grande parte desse trabalho pesado que antes era parte exclusiva do ser humano. E o que as pessoas estão fazendo nessa agricultura atual? Controlando justamente essas máquinas.
Com a AI, será algo parecido no futuro. Novos tipos de empregos serão criados e eu e você o que estamos fazendo agora? Estamos em uma plataforma digital. Você imagina que naquela época da Idade Média alguma pessoa pensaria que existiria esse tipo de "trabalho" onde apenas digitar pode nos trazer algum tipo de renda? Com certeza não. E é assim que daqui a uns 100 anos, as coisas poderão novamente mudar.
Aqui no Brasil, temos um grande problema se tratando de empregos onde pessoas fazem faculdade para buscar uma vaga no mercado de trabalho. É bastante comum ver motorista de Uber com graduação em Engenharia Civil, Advogado ou mesmo Professor. Existe uma crise nesse sentido, pois não existem vagas suficientes para tanta demanda. Não é a toa que também vemos uma grande quantidade de pessoas nas redes sociais sendo influencers quando se tem sucesso naquilo que faz.
A alternativa que posso dizer que será o melhor caminho é dessas pessoas no futuro se especializarem em algum curso onde poderão entender melhor sobre AI. Ou então, buscar outras formas com citei acima. O emprego não irá acabar nunca para nós, só irá apenas se transformar. Somos pessoas flexíveis por natureza e ao longo de nossa história provou isso e estaremos aqui para nos adaptar como sempre fizemos.
