The world has changed, we are constantly evolving, especially in the areas of technology, science and medicine. This is all being possible thanks to incredible people who have dedicated themselves and also to those who are dedicated to overcoming the barriers of knowledge. We had great geniuses who contributed a lot in their respective areas and I can mention two that I greatly admire, Albert Einstein and Nikola Tesla.
These and other people helped shape the world we know today. Imagine how much progress we would make if they had all the access to the information we have today? This would be something even unthinkable with so many inventions and discoveries that these geniuses could bring to us. All this thanks to technological innovations that we have at our fingertips.
From Library To Databases
I'm from the time when many people didn't have access to a computer, much less the internet. To do some more in-depth research, we had to go to libraries and I remember one that I went to. It was close to my school, but very far from my house. So after school I would go to this library to do my research as it was much better and more accessible.
It's incredible how time has changed the way we can seek knowledge. Nowadays you only need internet and a smartphone, laptop or simply a SmartTV. I often tell my children that today they have everything for their studies. I can mention YouTube as a great alternative to looking for free classes for any type of topic you need to study.
The Explosion of Knowledge Through Artificial Intelligence
I believe that my grandparents would never have imagined that today we have technology capable of doing impressive things, as I have no doubt that they would find it cool to talk to my Alexa here at home. You would also find it incredible to ask a chatbot anything and see the answer being said in milliseconds.
Nowadays anyone has access to decentralized and distributed information, it's incredible how any subject can be shared and consumed. We no longer have that limitation of decades ago where only TV and Radio could know what was happening. Today, anyone can simply delve deeper into any type of subject, just go online and watch the magic happen.
We are in the era of Artificial Intelligence and I have no doubt that from now on we will advance even further in different areas of knowledge. Knowing how to make the most of what AI can offer us, I have no doubt that we will be able to increase our intellectual capacity at an ease where in the past it would have taken decades or even centuries of research and experiments.
Therefore, today's technologies exist thanks to the incredible people who helped us shape our humanity. The large databases only exist because back then, many people dedicated their entire lives to a lot of study and it is incredible to imagine that today, we can have access to any type of information in the palm of our hand. I don't know how old you are, but my generation was the last one to see this entire transformation (from the library to the database) and I'm looking forward to discovering many more things to come.

Isso tudo está sendo possível graças a pessoas incríveis que se dedicaram e também às que se dedicam em ultrapassar as barreiras do conhecimento. Tivemos grandes gênios que contribuíram e muito em suas respectivas áreas e posso citar dois que admiro muito, Albert Einstein e Nikola Tesla.
Essas e outras pessoas ajudaram a moldar o mundo que conhecemos hoje. Imagine o quanto avançaríamos se eles tivessem todo acesso à informação que temos hoje em dia? Isso seria algo até impensável de tantas invenções e descobertas que esses gênios poderiam trazer para nós. Tudo isso graças a inovações tecnológicas que temos em nosso alcance.
Da Biblioteca Para Os Bancos de Dados
Sou do tempo que muitas pessoas não tinham acesso a computador, muito menos a internet. Para fazer alguma pesquisa mais aprofundada, tínhamos que recorrer a bibliotecas e lembro de uma que eu ia. Ficava perto da minha escola, mas bem longe da minha casa. Então, depois da escola, eu ia para essa biblioteca fazer minha pesquisa, pois era muito melhor e mais acessível.
É incrível como o tempo mudou a forma como conseguimos buscar conhecimento. Hoje em dia é preciso ter apenas internet e um smartphone, laptop ou simplesmente uma SmarTV. Costumo dizer a meus filhos que hoje eles têm tudo para seus estudos. Posso citar o YouTube como uma ótima alternativa para buscar aulas gratuitas para qualquer tipo de tema que precisar estudar.
A Explosão de Conhecimento Através da Inteligência Artificial
Acredito que meus avós nunca imaginariam que hoje nós temos uma tecnologia capaz de fazer coisas impressionantes, pois não tenho dúvidas de que eles achariam vem legal de conversar com a minha Alexa aqui em casa. Também achariam incrível perguntar qualquer coisa para um chatbot e ver a resposta ser dita em milésimos de segundos.
Hoje em dia qualquer pessoa tem acesso a informação descentralizada e distribuída, é incrível como qualquer assunto possa ser compartilhado e consumido. Não temos mais aquela limitação de décadas atrás onde apenas a TV e a Rádio poderíamos saber o que estava acontecendo. Hoje qualquer pessoa pode simplesmente se aprofundar em qualquer tipo de assunto, basta entrar na internet e ver a magia acontecer.
Estamos na era da Inteligência Artificial e não tenho dúvidas de que a partir de agora iremos avançar ainda mais em diferentes áreas de conhecimento. Sabendo aproveitar ao máximo o que a IA pode nos oferecer, não tenho dúvidas de que poderemos aumentar nossa capacidade intelectual numa facilidade onde antigamente, precisaria de décadas ou até mesmo séculos de pesquisas e experimentos.
Portanto, as tecnologias de hoje existem graças as pessoas incríveis que nos ajudaram a moldar a nossa humanidade. Os grandes banco de dados só existem porque lá atrás, muitas pessoas dedicaram suas vidas inteiras com muito estudo e é incrível imaginar que hoje, podemos ter acesso a qualquer tipo de informação na palma de nossa mão. Não sei a sua idade, mas a minha geração foi a última que pôde ver toda essa transformação (da biblioteca para o banco de dados) e estou ansioso para descobrir ainda muito mais coisas que há por vir.
