Life is full of surprises, good or totally bad things are always happening in our path and in addition, I can also say that people can appear and disappear from our lives and interestingly, this is more common than you might think. Mistakes give us learning and those people with bad intentions also teach us not to be like them.
I don't consider myself a perfect person, I'm far from it, but I always try to live on the right path. Being polite and kind to the people around me are lessons I learned from my parents and today my role as a father is precisely to pass on the same education to my children and I always tell them that kindness generates kindness.
In the midst of chaos, there are Solidarity People
I've already told you here a few times about the day my house caught fire. It was without a doubt one of the worst experiences I've had in my life. It's that kind of thing that can happen to anyone, but you would never guess that you would be an example.
As I live in a gated community, it is normal for people, especially my neighbors, to be worried about the fire, because if the fire spread, the houses next door would be the first to catch fire. My neighbor across the street, when he saw the flame above my roof, ran out of the condominium to turn off the power supply to the house. I'm glad he said that, this attitude was very important for fighting the fire.
When I arrived, I saw a lot of people in front of my house and I needed to do something, even though some neighbors told me not to go in, I wanted to see what the yard was like. So I took a fire extinguisher from the condominium and went to put out what I could put out. I removed the gas cylinder that was already starting to catch fire and after a while, people appeared with some hoses.
Fortunately, as we acted quickly, the fire only consumed what was in the backyard and was almost entering the bathroom. But the attitude of my neighbors, I will never forget. I still remember my wife's reaction when she entered the backyard with the fire already out, but the place was literally empty, she was devastated and started crying.
It was then that a neighbor we weren't so close to comforted her. In that moment of so much sadness, people have empathy with others. A neighbor from the condominium next door also showed up and showed solidarity in helping to repair the electrical part where the fire had consumed the backyard. He did everything for free and didn't charge a penny, even though we said we could give something.
I know we shouldn't get attached to material goods, but I lost a lot of things in the backyard, especially the washing machines, several clothes, 90% of my Lego collection (bricks to be more exact) and maybe other things that even Today I don't know that I lost. Another neighbor gave us a huge basin from the brand Tupperware. It was very useful for us to be able to store some food while the power was restored.
Therefore, it was through that fire that I realized that the world still has a way, that there are many kind and supportive people who care about others. A popular saying that fits perfectly is "do good, without looking at who". We should be kind to people regardless of who they are.

A vida é cheia de surpresas, coisas boas ou totalmente ruins estão sempre acontecendo em nosso caminho e além disso, também posso dizer que pessoas podem surgir e desaparecer das nossas vidas e curiosamente, isso é mais comum do que você imagina. Os erros nos dão aprendizado e aquelas pessoas mal intencionadas também nos ensinam a não ser como elas.
Não me considero uma pessoa perfeita, estou bem longe disso, mas tento a todo instante viver sempre no caminho certo. Ser educado e gentil com as pessoas ao meu redor, são ensinamentos que tive dos meus pais e hoje minha função de pai é justamente passar a mesma educação para os meus filhos e sempre digo para eles que gentileza gera gentileza.
Em Meio ao Caos, Há Pessoas Solidárias
Já contei algumas vezes aqui sobre o dia em que minha casa pegou fogo. Foi sem dúvidas uma das piores experiências que tive na minha vida. É aquele tipo de coisa que pode acontecer com qualquer um, mas você nunca adivinharia que você seria exemplo.
Como eu moro em um condomínio fechado, é normal que as pessoas, principalmente os vizinhos da minha casa, se preocupassem com o incêndio, pois se esse fogo alastrasse, as casas ao lado seriam as primeiras a também pegar fogo. Meu vizinho da frente, quando viu a labareda acima do meu telhado, saiu correndo para fora do condomínio para desligar o registro da energia de casa. Ainda bem que ele fez isso, essa atitude foi bastante importante para o combate ao incêndio.
Quando cheguei, vi muitas pessoas na frente da minha casa e eu precisava fazer alguma coisa, apesar de que alguns vizinhos diziam para eu não entrar, eu queria ver como estava o quintal. Então eu peguei um extintor de incêndio do condomínio e fui apagar o que dava para apagar. Retirei o botijão de gás que já estava começando a pegar fogo e depois de um tempo, as pessoas apareceram com algumas mangueiras.
Felizmente, como nós agimos rapidamente, o fogo apenas consumiu o que tinha no quintal e estava quase entrando no banheiro. Mas a atitude dos meus vizinhos, nunca esquecerei. Lembro até hoje da reação da minha esposa quando ela entrou no quintal já com o fogo apagado, mas o local estava literalmente vazio, ela ficou arrasada e começou a chorar.
Foi então que uma vizinha que não tínhamos tanta intimidade, consolou ela. Naquele momento de tanta tristeza, as pessoas tem empatia com o próximo. Um vizinho do condomínio ao lado, também apareceu e se solidarizou em ajudar a consertar a parte elétrica onde o fogo consumiu no quintal. Ele fez tudo de graça e não cobrou nenhum centavo, mesmo a gente dizendo que poderia dar alguma coisa.
Sei que não devemos nos apegar em bens materiais, mas perdi muita coisa no quintal, principalmente as máquinas de lavar, várias roupas, 90% da minha coleção de Lego (bricks para ser mais exato) e talvez outras coisas que até hoje não sei que perdi. Uma outra vizinha nos presenteou com uma bacia enorme da marca Tupperware. Foi muito útil para gente poder guardar alguns alimentos enquanto a energia era restabelecida.
Portanto, foi através daquele incêndio que constatei que o mundo ainda tem jeito, de que existem muitas pessoas gentis e solidárias e que se preocupam com o próximo. Um ditado popular que se encaixa perfeitamente é "fazer o bem, sem olhar a quem". Devemos ser gentis com as pessoas independente de quem sejam.
