This is really another interesting article that is worth publishing, and I believe that in the course of my publication, most of us will learn a great lesson. Thanks as you patiently go through.
In this contemporary time, it has become so obvious that most people aren't just scouting for money to help and people around them.
I have heard people here in my country saying " this money is for miscellaneous expenditure" and while scrutinizing the societal response of these people, I realized that the miscellany is for settling and making troubles which I couldn't tell what exactly prompted such a thing.
I have also realized that there are people that love making trouble and from my perspective, this attitude has turned inherent in them.
Nonetheless, dissecting from a wity dimension, the judicial environment should be a place where issues are settled and not an arena where people come to prove that they have money unlike what's obtainable in my country where some individuals are above the rule of law.
Well! I have not been to court on a personal basis but I have witnessed some court incidence countless times on different settlements and occasions.
Why my two uncles went to court
The very court issue I will be unleashing in my article is a real event that happened between my two relatives by name Uncle Lucky and Uncle Chijindu.
These two guys are my uncle's but it was quite a very serious but funny issue that transpired between the both of them.
The cause of this issue is very rampant within my community and what exactly is this'? it is land sell and resell issue. This case is well familiarized with our people and it's a situation where someone who's in dire need of money has to resell his land after selling it to a first party.
Although it sounds funny that we are acquainted with this issue but it has also Claimed the lives of people who think they are smarter than others.
Jumping into the issue proper, these uncle's of mine settled in the court because of the rampant issue within ḿy area.
Nonetheless, it happened that Uncle Chijindu sold a few of his land to Uncle Lucky and went further in using a part of the land for personal purpose with intention to resell it after a while.
Well! the situation was qiute so bad, and Mr. Chijindu never knew that Mr. Lucky legally documented every information about the land immediately it was sold to him.
Meanwhile, Mr Lucky finally got to know that a potion of the land sold to him by Mr Chijindu has been inn use by him also but when he (Mr Chijindu) was consulted, he denied the fact that those other portion of the land which he was using were inclusive in the land.
Mr Lucky then took a bold step by first involving the police into the case, which led to the arrest of Uncle Chijindu. After a brief detention of Uncle Chijindu by the police, he was charged to court to provide evidence that the portion of the land he was using legally belonged to him but he could no longer do so which led the court to superimpose on him some fine to pay for destroying his clients property.
What happened during the court case
Finally, Mr Chijindu agreed on settling the fine that was imposed on him by the court but then it wasn't easy on him as this cost him to go further in selling some of their lands as to settle the fine, and the funny part of it was that, he was paying the fine while in the correctional center (Prison)
This was one of the very court case I have witnessed and the way everything transpired after the truth was revealed to the jurists.
Conclusion
The court environment is a place for settling issues and certain societal lapses which reasonable individuals who believe that it isn't right to take laws into their hands normally go for peak and unalterable agreement.
Nevertheless in our world today, the rule of law has been thwarted and in most cases turned biased because of the jurist greediness and insatiable voracity and quest for money and personal gain instead of observing the constitutional process of settling issues and this is very prevalent in many places including my terrain, which isn't how things ought to have been, as the court should be a place and final resort for all who are seeking for justice.
Thanks for going through my article for today, hope you learnt something tangible, bye for now.
