Setting a goal and accomplishing it has been one of my major problems in life. I don't know if it's only me but seriously, anytime I decide to set a goal, I tend to always end up not accomplishing it.

Perhaps, this might be because I tend not to go back to check or assess the progress of my goals. I think this is the reason I derail and lose focus most of the time and end up not always accomplishing my goals. It seems I need someone to push me for this to happen and I'm grateful for the opportunity given to us by @dreemport to make this a reality.
Seeing the 6weeks dreemport challenge made me so excited because I know I won't fail in accomplishing my goals this time around since I will be closely monitored. I have decided to come all out for this challenge and I hope to accomplish my goals at the end of the challenge, God helping me. Here is my pledge certificate for the challenge.

This challenge is all about completing a simple daily task and giving a cumulative and progressive report weekly about it. This is the first week of this challenge and I'm so happy to tell us all that I completed all my task and did even more. To be honest, I was only able to do this because I know I would be giving a report about it at the end of the week. I just hope this continues though, since we all know that we become what we do constantly.
Here are the list of the simple tasks we were meant to do for this week and how I accomplished them;
5 MINUTES MEDITATION, BREATHING AND PRAYER

Even before this challenge, I have never failed to have a quiet time with my Creator every morning. This is something that has become a part of me and so, it was an easy-peasy task for me. Starting my day with God has always made my day a success. Tell me why this shouldn't be part of my day?
I also did lots of breathing exercise this week since it was one of the ways I've been using to improve my breath control in singing. Trust me, this has always helped me. You should give it a try, don't you think?
DRINK 32OZ OF WATER

To be honest, if you are in my country right now, you will end up drinking even more than 32oz of water everyday. The heat is just too much and it tends to make a person drink water non stop.
So this wasn't a really difficult task to accomplish since I don't want to get dehydrated because of the heat. I have heard too many times how important drinking of water is and I have always tried to drink enough water because of my health.

I think when it comes to this, I am very lazy. I hate any activity that's physical, but sadly, there is no way I can do away with this since most of my daily activities are physical.
For the sake of this challenge, I decided to take a walk to a friend's place on Monday which on a norm, I wouldn't have done. It took me approximately 30mins to get to his place and when I was done with him, I decided to also walk back home.
On Tuesday through Thursday, I made sure I did some early morning exercises and warm ups and then on Friday, I played some football. I think this is physical enough, right?
15MINS TOWARDS PERSONAL GOAL

At the beginning of the week, I had set a goal to make sure I get enough rest and recuperate since the past few weeks have been so stressful for me. My sister's marriage was last 2 week and I really stressed myself out just to make sure it was a success. Likewise last week, I had to travel for more than 7hours for a burial of a Christian brother which made me so tired.
I barely left the house this week since I wanted to recuperate and I think currently, I'm better than before. That's just the power of rest. I would advice we do this once in a while, it will really help improve our health.
OTHERS
I actually did more research this week more than I have ever done in the past weeks. Guess it was because I had more time to myself and really needed to know more about meditation and yoga. Did I tell us the meditation helped me a lot? It actually did.. I would advice we meditate everyday even if its once a day.

THE QUESTION OF THE WEEK
The question of the week is all about the goals/gifts/abilities/talents I'm yet to develop due to my procrastination. I thought about this severally, but I couldn't come up with anything else except how to improve my singing abilities.

I am a singer and I love to sing a lot but most times, I feel I am not using that talent like I should. I feel I really need to train my voice to become better than it used to be. Everytime I decide to fully start up a vocal warm up, I tend to end up not completing it. Thanks to this challenge, I'm now determined to work on this for the next 6weeks.
I have downloaded so many vocal warm up videos from YouTube to help me in doing this, and I hope to use them daily to better off my singing abilities.
It has been a very interesting week and all thanks to @dreemport who made it possible. I hope I accomplish this in 6weeks.
