Week 45 was very exciting, and many participants also enjoyed the excitement in week 45. With several interesting topics discussed from the first to the last edition, making the 45th week no less exciting than the previous weeks and that's why many participants participated. The first to the second edition went well and this time we have reached the 3rd edition, and in this 3rd edition we will discuss human rights. As you know, human rights are no longer respected, and that is why there are many opinions and discussions about this, of course. I will also discuss it a little in this post. So, let's check this out...
As time goes by, human behavior changes more and more, in which every change creates conflict both in terms of politics, the economy, and even in terms of human rights. Talking about human rights is a long conversation, of course, in which we will talk about the rights that are human nature and what distinguish us from animals. Rights for a human being are rights that must be respected and upheld, but when there is conflict and it is getting here, more and more people are trampling on or belittling the rights of some other people, and this is sometimes criticized by those who are strong, but will be left alone when it comes to those who are weak.
We have seen a lot of this as long as we live in the world, both from World War II, the Israeli and Palestinian conflicts where this conflict violates human rights the most in this era. All of these are examples that we can see how human rights are belittled and equate humans with animals. Those who break it are mindless and psychopathic and irresponsible, but some of them are not even blamed and this is truly an insult.
It cannot be denied that war and conflict are the main causes of human rights being trampled on and not considered. War can not only destroy an area, kill many people, but can also make human rights no longer considered, and we have arrived at the time when this happened. For those who have strength and power, it is easy to trample on those who are weak, and if those with power are offended, they will call for human rights without remembering what they have done so far. It's as if we in this world are blind to justice and underestimate those who look weak in our eyes.
There is a saying that humans only evolve, but deep inside humans is still animals.
I myself have never felt anything related to belittling and humiliating human rights, and I hope I don't feel it personally. But when I see the current condition, I don't rule out the possibility that I will feel it too in the future. In my own country, violations of human rights and human rights that are trampled on often occur, and sadly the government is involved in it. Recently, the conflict and the death of hundreds of football supporters in a stadium in Indonesia by the police have also become a red record of human rights violations. In addition, many parties even take advantage of the power of officials to commit these violations, as if officials and the government in my country are no longer able to distinguish between humans and animals.
If we look back a few years, my country has also had conflicts with its citizens which were triggered by cruel governments and regimes that ruled while turning a blind eye. They only care about their own area by colonizing other areas. Conflicts due to the government's disregard for human rights also claimed many victims, moreover at that time our government pitted the army against each other and also its own citizens just because the governments hated their citizens. Things like this might subside for a moment, but at any time they will re-occur in different forms and cases and this will not disappear as long as humans don't care about the rights of others.
Until now there have been hundreds of cases of human rights violations in my country, and I think this will happen again and will be repeated for the umpteenth time as long as greed, ignorance, and demeaning others still exist, of course, human rights will always be trampled upon. For this reason, we really need to respect others and not occasionally belittle and trample on the rights of others so that we are also respected and upheld.
