The 10th week of the contest just ended and it was so much fun, many participants took part in the 10th week of the contest and it was very good, the topics discussed in the previous week were also very interesting and very unique.
This time, we are entering week 11 which I think this week's contest is no less exciting than the previous week. As previously announced, the first issue of this week starts with the topic of the first income we get, which in this post I have to tell how I got my first paid income or job.
Let's look carefully.
In my childhood, I spent a lot of money on snacks and so on. I also often buy toys and all kinds of things with my friends by using my savings that comes from the pocket money my parents gave me and I save the rest after I shop with that money. That's the money I used to buy things when I was a kid.
However, as I grew older, I realized that the savings I had accumulated took a long time to save and my growing needs made me have to get money from other sources so that I could buy something I like with my money.
It so happened that when I was still in school, I liked to buy new things such as toys, my favorite sports equipment, stationery that had unique functions, and I even wanted to buy a Playstation 1 when I was still in school. Of course, some of these kits sometimes have fantastic prices, and because of that, sometimes I have to save up so I can buy them in a few months.
When I was still in school, I was also a little good at painting, although if I look at the results of my previous paintings at this time it looked like children's scribbles, but at that time, it was the best painting my friends had ever seen. my friend and so am i.
And this is where I started to get my first paycheck when I was still in school. My friends are always amazed by the results of my paintings and they take turns asking me to paint something according to their wishes, sometimes they want me to draw their faces, landscapes, objects or objects and so on. I too, who really liked to paint at that time, liked to paint something recommended by my friends and I did it very well. Until one day I got a request to paint someone on a piece of paper for their assignment and I agreed. He asked me to drawing his face with the photo he sent to my cell phone and I traced the photo as much as possible and made it look similar to the picture in the photo. I didn't even know it would work, but I'm pretty sure I can make it.
I also asked him to prepare the tools and materials that I will use for painting and then these materials were also given to me, and I was very happy at that time.
I made the painting requested by my friend for 2 hours and I finished it very well. And at that time, I was paid 15,000 IDR or around 1.02 USD at that time. And I was very happy when I received my first payment while I was still in school. For children who are very young and still in school, that amount of money is a lot of money because at that time I got the money to eat my three days at school. From then on, I became more and more happy to draw and charged my friends when they asked me to draw something for them. I am also very happy because my hobby can produce something of value and not be wasted. Until one day I was able to buy a Playstation 1 and I got half of the money from my drawing.
Unfortunately now I'm busy working and also studying and busy with my thesis, slowly my drawing ability is decreasing because I haven't been trained for a long time. Maybe someday I'll want to draw again, and I guess I just need to find the right time for that.
That's a little story when I got my first payment when I was still in school, as children who are still in school, I am very happy about it, especially since I got it from my hobby which I also enjoy.
