Last week was a week full of fun, I really enjoyed it and I also saw many participants who also enjoyed last week's contest by writing their best writing for the contest. This time we will enter week 25, and today I will start the first edition of the week with great enthusiasm. I think this week will also have a lot of fun going on and that's really something I'm looking forward to. In the first edition of this week we will discuss the influence of romantic films on our relationships, of course we will talk about romantic relationships. I think there are a lot of people's views on this, and I also have my own views on this, so read carefully.
The world of cinema continues to evolve from day to day, so that we can distinguish past films and contemporary films which are very epic. The cinema of our time also raises many titles and themes as well as genres from these films, and one of them is the romantic genre. This genre is never empty of fans, they wrap it with themes or various plots so that the audience is more interested in following the storyline. Some combine it with the genre of comedy, drama, action, to those based on true stories. Apart from stories based on true stories, they also quote stories through novels, this is mostly done in romantic genre films because there is a synchronization between romantic novels and romantic films, for those who like to read, they will follow the story in the novel, but for those who want to watch, they can watch it through movies, and the most important thing here is how these romantic spices can be channeled to fans.
I'm not really into the romantic genre, and I've never read romantic novels either, even though novels and movies are a perfect match. However, I feel that there are many men like me who also don't like romantic things even though they are packed with anything including comedy. For example, you can watch Korean films where there are many films from Korea that are romantic, they will give a touch of romantic stories in all of their films, and if you watch it you will definitely be able to feel it too. Even though I don't like movies or romance novels, I also have my reasons for this. And regarding its influence and relationship with love stories in the real world, I will discuss it a little this time.
Indeed, many are influenced by romantic films so they apply it to the real world and they drag on in it. Before you misunderstand this, you need to know that this is only a film and the author's essay or narrative. Indeed, there are romantic things in this world, and many people do them, but the thing that matters is that romantic things in the real world are different in timing and the way they are done in movies, and this is what people don't understand.
The actors and characters in the film are people who are chosen based on beauty and good acting so that a romantic message is conveyed to the audience. Maybe in some novels they even write the characteristics and they will design everything to look perfect including the nature and characteristics of the character, of course nothing is perfect in the real world but in a relationship we should complement each other's shortcomings, right? highlight the perfection of each.
Isn't it..?
It should be noted that everything in the film is fictitious and it is unlikely that it will work in the real world and this is something that is rarely understood by people who enjoy romantic stories. Stories and Films are a narrative composition of the author and this is just an essay. This will have no effect on the real world and these are actually two different things. Although there are similarities, it may be in terms of similarities in actions and also the way the characters express romantic things. A lot of young couples are very affected by this, I also see a lot of them trying to do it like in a movie or like in a novel. I see the characters or characters created by the author are very attached to them and they will expect the same thing. I think this will really affect those who are still very new to love, I don't think that everyone who understands love will not like romantic films or anything like that, but the problem here is how they take the essence and understand the message to be conveyed is not just practicing what is done in the film.
I think there are several reasons for people to enjoy romance novels or films, such as seeing the essence of a film or writing and storylines or trying to learn about romance from it. For those who want to know and learn about love through these two things, they are certainly doing the wrong thing because films and novels are very different from the real world whose plots are unpredictable, and for those who only enjoy the essence of a film or essay, of course this is something this is very good, because they are only connoisseurs of films, characters, artists, and the storyline of a narrative either written or acted and this is what it should be. We may like movies or romantic novels, but never think that real world events will be the same, and no relationship will work like in a movie. Romantic things and love problems should be felt rather than imitated, and this is what makes a difference from the side of lovers of romantic stories. Even if we have the right partner for us to practice as in the film, of course the storyline in the real world will be different, we may have a different plot from the character we are playing, and love stories are not things that will run smoothly as expected.
In conclusion, enjoying movies or novels is only limited to fans, in the sense that we don't need to imitate them and apply them to the real world and expect that our love lives will work like in the movies. Take the essence and wisdom, because that is what the author really wants to convey, while the stories and characters are just fictitious things so that the message to be conveyed can be digested properly by the audience of the film or novel.
Maybe that's just a little view for me regarding romance in movies or novels compared to the real world, there are many differences between the two, therefore we must be wise in seeing it.
