The first edition has just ended and has been very exciting in its 26th week. As you know this time we will enter the 2nd edition in this 26th week and the 2nd edition of this week just started a few days ago. In this second edition, we will also discuss something that is no less exciting than the previous editions. In this 2nd edition we will discuss about volunteers which we often hear about this and activities like many people do for research purposes, experiments, and also research. Volunteering is also a noble activity if it is done for the benefit of the people and this is something that is highly appreciated. In this post, I'm going to talk about how I view volunteers, so take a good look.
The word volunteer has been known for a very long time and when we hear this word we will immediately think of a mission or experiment that is very important because no other object can do it besides humans. We immediately assume that the mission carried out by the volunteers is a mission that is not kidding and relates to the public interest or for something on a large scale related to living things. Volunteers themselves are people who are ready to take risks for the tasks entrusted to them and they only have one mission which is to save humanity with their sacrifices. Sometimes volunteers also lose their lives in their work related to research and trials. The smallest volunteer sacrifices are blood donors, they are not forced, not paid, and they are willing to do it voluntarily. In the medical world, there are many situations or conditions for patients who require blood bags and blood donors with certain blood types, and this is where the role of volunteers is often seen in a small scope. They give their blood for the safety of others, with the hope that people who need blood will survive and be able to recover and return to their lives. In world war II, many soldiers in the field lost a lot of blood and needed blood transfusions, and we can see those who have a soul savior will help the soldiers by donating blood and this is real help without coercion.
Every volunteer is a hero if they do work for the common good and for research that will be useful to humans in the future. Volunteers can come from all walks of life, and they do not look at the wages that will be paid to, the race, and religion of the people who need their help, they sacrifice themselves sincerely from their hearts. Everyone will be proud of the volunteers for their sacrifices.
I remember when humans first went to the moon, we didn't know about outer space and no one had ever been there. Fortunately there are two people voluntarily who want to follow this mission solely for science and research on the development of human astronomy. They are also volunteers even though their job is an astronaut, but they are not forced to take part in a mission that is considered dangerous at the time, they can take risks that might take their souls, but they are still optimistic about what they are doing for humanity and science. That's the real volunteer, it's the same for those who are willing to give their blood for patients who need blood transfusions, they are free of charge and it's not even their profession to save others, but they still do it for the safety of others even sometimes they don't know at all.
I've never been a volunteer, and I hope in the future I can do it on missions to save human lives and even for research or something. I have great respect for volunteers who dare to take risks for the benefit of the people and it takes a lot of courage for us to be able to do it. If I was needed to donate blood at a hospital because my blood might match the blood of one of their patients, I would definitely do it and I'm very proud of it. Although I have never donated blood until now, if needed in the future, I will be brave and willing to sacrifice to save the lives of others.
Volunteering in positive things is a matter of pride and also something that deserves respect, therefore we as people who have the opportunity to do it, we must be brave and willing to do it for the benefit of everyone.
