This blog is about the weather and effects of rain in Karachi, Pakistan. To understand it better, I invite you to read Alarming Situation Around Imran Khan's Office NA-244! written by me on Nov 28, 2021.

There is not much to say, sadly. Everyone knows how corruption works in any part of the world. In the previous part, I gave details on all the incidents in the nearby area. Let's start today's topic by informing you that I got an electric shock this rainy season. The karma and quick response to a situation got me saved.
I clicked some pictures for you to see the situation yourself.

The red-marked thing you see here is the remains of an electric system or an election campaign. This is not only one, but there are many like this. It's a big issue because you can't see all of them during rain. Children and older people got physically injured because of this. During my 1st year in college, I tripped over one of them, resulting in broken glasses. It was the first week of college, and my parents had to rebuy clothes for me. I happened before someone gave Pearl Millet(Bajra) to the pigeons on the footpath. It was nighttime, and I wouldn't hold my balance because of Pearl Millet and got severely injured. I also found out another older person on that weekly also got hurt. I don't know how hard it is to remove them, but people pay enough taxes still, and not all complaints are heard.
The second problem we phase during rain is open sewerage holes.

It's not just us; some people face the same problem. It is perilous because it can become the reason for the death of people. There are many holes like this. During rain, it's impossible to spot them. In part 1, I told the story of a person's mobile falling into a hole and how I helped him. Another biker deliver wasted and deducted from his salary. In short, it is a quick fix that can save many lives.
I clicked enough pictures to showcase the horrible situation, but you got the basic idea. Before concluding my final thoughts, here is how I got shocked.

Because of no proper street lights, people use these types of holders. It was around 4 in the early morning. I wanted to enjoy the rain. Since my eyesight is weak (I don't wear glasses in the rain since I can't see anyways because of rain), I got the assistance of my dad, and he took care of me the whole time. When he returned home, He forgot for a moment that I couldn't see this wire. He crossed the wire while showing me on the backside how a car's sensors are not working and how it will drain the battery. I observed the car looking backward while I got in contact with the wire. My head felt the strongest electric shock I had ever felt. I am fine, and no significant injuries happened. If the government listens, we can save many lives, but it looks like no one cares. It's strange how we fight over favorite politicians; in the end, all they care about is their pockets. I wanna ask one thing: "I Wanna Enjoy the Rain! Where Are My Taxes?".
